"◾️Summary Great location, but not having breakfast would have been better. ◾️Conditions ・Stayed on a weekday in February ・One night for one person, total cost about ¥7,100. ◾️Location ・Conveniently located right next to Shimane Station ◾️Service ・No particular complaints about the service. ◾️Amenities ・The amenity bar had everything you'd expect. ・There didn't seem to be any water. ・Drink service was provided at the front desk (including alcohol). ◾️Room: Super Room, non-smoking. ・The room seemed reasonably clean. ・The bunk bed room was the cheapest, so it was unnecessarily large. ・Humidifier provided. ・WiFi worked. ◾️Breakfast [Time] I visited around 8:30 AM on a weekday. [Crowdiness] There were about three other guests. [Taste] Since it's considered a free breakfast, it was quite basic. Rice (Dashi Chazuke) Shijimi Soup Simmered Sukiyaki Grilled Salt-Grilled Mackerel Teriyaki Chicken Tofu Hamburger Dashimaki* Yogurt Aloe Vera Bread The clam soup was the best. Since there weren't many dishes, I thought it would have been better to serve the food on regular plates instead of buffet plates so that it would look more attractive. Personally, I would have preferred the 500 yen discount and the room-only plan. [Service][Atmosphere] No wet towels provided. At the end, you have to separate and return your dishes, just like at school lunches, which I didn't like from a hygienic standpoint. The lack of wet towels makes this all the more noticeable."

"The 5 private baths are really great and you can go there anytime. There is also free ramen in the evening. The hotel service is very good and foreign language communication is no problem. The only drawback is that the buffet food in the morning and evening is not very varied and tastes light, which is not very edible."

"The facilities were clean and reasonably spacious, which was nice. The room had a unit bath, but we were able to use the nearby hot springs at a discount. There was a supermarket next door, and convenience stores and restaurants were within walking distance. Some restaurants for dinner recommended reservations, but there were some that we could enter without reservations, so it wasn't a problem. The amenities in the room were sufficient, including a hairbrush, razor toothpaste, and body towel. I was surprised to see the morning newspaper provided in the morning. I was grateful to read it."

"It seems they're offering the banquet hall as guest rooms, but I think this plan needs to be clearly and thoroughly described as soon as possible. The banquet hall is partitioned off, the entrance is a sliding door, there's no lock, no bath, toilet, or TV—no privacy whatsoever—it's like a training camp. I had no desire to stay there, so I looked for a different hotel."

"It is a nostalgic inn near Izumo Taisha Shrine. We were greeted with a calm reception and were able to spend a very calm and relaxing time. Dinner was really delicious with local vegetables ． fish and meat from Shimane. The breakfast was also very delicious. Also, I would like to stay at Izumo Taisha shrine."

"Just two words, perfect! This can be said to be my favorite stay experience during my trip to Japan, a treasure trove of cottages in the quiet mountains! It was very clean, with complete furniture and kitchen supplies, including an oven, microwave, induction cooker, coffee machine, and even two induction cookers. I also prepared a pot of tea in a thermos in advance, which really warmed me up! I drove 15 minutes to a nearby supermarket to buy ingredients and ate hot pot at home. It was so happy and comfortable! As soon as you open the doors and windows, you can see the beautiful scenery of mountains and lakes. It is very comfortable to watch the sunrise and drink coffee in the morning. My husband got up early on purpose to go for a morning run. The whole feeling of being in a paradise is so comfortable that we don’t want to go home. However, it would be very inconvenient if you can't drive here. I still recommend friends who drive to come here to steal half a day of leisure, which is very healing. Please note that you need to take the garbage away by yourself. If you need the hut management to deal with it, you need to spend 50 yen to buy a garbage bag and hand it in to the office staff. It also needs to be sorted. Combustible garbage, cans and plastic bottles all need to be packed in different garbage bags."

"It was a quiet and nice inn located very close to Izumo Taisha Shrine. The air conditioning was working as soon as I entered and I had a comfortable stay. The amenities were also very good. The check-in process was a little difficult, but the support was good and it would have been appreciated if it had been a little easier. I would like to stay somewhere else again. "As expected of Hoshino Resort Kai, the sophisticated service from the staff was truly extraordinary. The local cuisine was impressive. Every dish for dinner was delicious, highlighting the flavors of the ingredients, pleasing both the eyes and the palate. The large public bath with its salty hot spring was also delightful."

"I have the most memorable experience here. The hotel is accessible by car. They have a small car park for guests (free parking). The room has a pretty jacuzzi overlooking the sea, which is perfect. The setting of the hotel is surreal and wonderful for a perfect rest. Take note that the room doesn't have a TV, which works for me as I really wanted a good rest. I booked the dinner and breakfast, which was made with local produce and meat. It's just perfect! Absolutely delicious. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and polite. Love every bit of it."
