He'd sneakily hook a fish by the tail and pull it up. He rode his electric scooter back and forth, searching for schools of fish, catching one fish after another with each hook. I had been praising him for his skill, but I was speechless."

There are three or four small cold dishes, peanuts, fried eggs, milk, soy milk, white rice porridge, pumpkin porridge, hot dishes include fried celery with dried tofu and fried bean sprouts, and the staple food is small steamed bread, small steamed buns, and Jiande specialty tofu buns. The tofu buns are really worth recommending, especially at breakfast. The aunt said that the tofu buns are tofu bought in the morning, wrapped and steamed, and they taste really warm! "The service was very attentive and polite, with smiling staff everywhere. The environment is great; you step right out into a forest with many birds. Upon check-in, they proactively upgraded us to a lake-view villa. It was filled with the sounds of birds and blooming flowers, and there was even a cute little cat outside the house that I fed some meat, hehe. After waking up, I took a walk on the wooden boardwalk. The air was incredibly fresh, and I even got to photograph some birds. There's also an observation deck where you can see the beautiful distant mountains. Breakfast was just average, but everything else was excellent."

I highly recommend Yanjiang Huayi!"

"Environment: The room opens the door facing the lake view. Pushing the balcony door is a gentle evening in the south of the Yangtze River. The water surface reflects the sunset and pavilions, like living in an ink painting. The light in the room was particularly comfortable. The evening glow came in through the window, and the whole person slowed down. Service: The boss sent a local specialty gift, very pleasantly surprised, and delicious 😋 Next door is the restaurant opened by the boss. It tastes good and the fish is delicious. Facilities: The bed sat down and got up a little bit. It may be a long time since the wooden system. It is obvious that the socket on one side is a bit difficult to plug in at night. I forgot to give feedback to the boss."

"The environment and facilities were excellent, and the location was great too, right across from the Xin'an River. It was lovely to walk along the riverside path. We traveled by high-speed rail, and it was quite convenient, about a 30-minute taxi ride. The only issue was that the shower water temperature fluctuated, especially on the second night, it was quite noticeable. The breakfast was very good with a rich selection, including some local specialties. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

Novotel Qiandao Lake
"We took our child to Qiandao Lake, and initially booked the Fairfield. To our surprise, it had issues with safety and hygiene. We reluctantly stayed one night and then decisively checked out early. We then found the Novotel, and as soon as we entered the lobby, it felt much better. It was spacious and clean, and Xiaoxiong, who checked us in, had an incredibly good attitude. The room also felt great. Xiaoxiong modestly said our room didn't have a lake view, but it actually did! Our child needed to do summer homework and check in afterward, so we asked Xiaoxiong for a chair and a lamp. She brought them very quickly. She proactively and patiently answered any questions we had – thank you! The Novotel's pool also deserves high praise. It's large and very well-maintained, clean and free of debris. The water depth is 1.5m, which is a bit deep for children, so kids who can't swim can go to the 0.5m splash area downstairs. The kids' club is also bigger than expected. Even if it rains and you can't go out, kids can play there for an hour or two and won't get bored at all. If I had to pick a flaw, it might be that the breakfast could be slightly more abundant. However, for this value for money, we really can't ask for more! (Avoid Fairfield Qiandao Lake! Influencer recommendations really aren't reliable, absolutely don't go! Unless you don't mind dirty toilets and bath mats; or your child falling off the bed in the middle of the night because the bed and frame aren't secure and slide around; or your rhinitis acting up because the pillows smell bad!)"

"This is my first time giving a perfect score, and I'm quite surprised! The hotel is nestled in the mountains, accessible by boat or electric cart. It was my first taste of the layered beauty of Jiangnan's landscapes – especially stunning with the river mist in the mornings, and a completely different vibe at night. The service was excellent, and the hotel restaurant served delicious food. Since it was the off-season, they even upgraded my room, which was incredibly comfortable. I loved that they provided Le Labo 33 toiletries, which is a favorite scent of mine. The hot spring isn't huge, but it's very relaxing and not crowded."

The breakfast was also very rich and there was a lot to eat. I tried the tofu buns. The white porridge was very rich and very good. The breakfast waiter was also very enthusiastic and took the initiative to introduce delicious food to us. Recommended, I will come again next time."

"This hotel has a great overall vibe, it's very quiet and built around a lake. They have a fantastic swimming pool that's perfect for kids, quite large with separate areas for children and adults. There's also a hot spring upstairs. The location is excellent, very close to the old town, just a short walk away, and parking is super convenient. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are kept spotless. Breakfast is also plentiful. It's definitely worth staying here, and I'd love to come back again if I get the chance."

"I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out! The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking. The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!"
