The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning was also excellent; Jinan's weather can be quite stuffy, but we didn't feel any heat in the room at all, just a comfortable, cool breeze. Breakfast offered a rich variety, a mix of Chinese and Western options, with many Chinese pastries, and drinks like soy milk were included. You could even get noodles made fresh. The service was great – we left something behind in the room, and guest relations manager Lorna promptly contacted us and helped us find it. She was very responsible. I'd definitely come back to stay here again if I get the chance."

"I have traveled to many places and stayed in very good hotels, all of which were booked on Ctrip. I feel that the front desk of each hotel is very professional. However, this time when I came to Jinan, the lady at the front desk of Yingjia Ancient City Hotel was very unprofessional. We checked in on the evening of January 31st and booked a two-night stay. The scenic spot tickets provided by the hotel originally allowed multiple entries and exits. However, the front desk reminded us that if we entered the scenic spot the next day, we could not enter the scenic spot again after 12 o'clock, because there was a spring show in the scenic spot at 7:30 in the evening. We originally wanted to go back to the hotel to rest in the morning after the tour and then go into the scenic spot to see the spring show. As a result, after listening to what the front desk said, we stayed in the scenic spot until 6 o'clock after the tour. We were sleepy and tired, and the hot water we brought was finished, so we went to ask the security guard of the scenic spot. He said that guests who continued to stay were not subject to the 12 o'clock restriction. At this time, we returned to the hotel, but we couldn't see the spring show after going back and forth. Another disappointment was the hot water in the room for showering. It was not hot at all, just a little warm, and the water pressure was super low. We were on the first floor, and the water in the hotel had no water pressure at all and it just trickled out slowly. I usually took five minutes to take a shower at home, but it took twenty minutes in this hotel. I gave feedback to the customer service, and they said there were too many guests and it would be better after 10:30, but it didn't change until 11:00. I wanted to wash my hair in the morning, but it was impossible to wash it clean."

"Huge thanks to the hotel staff for their warm hospitality! They made my stay incredibly convenient. As I'm from Germany and don't have a Chinese phone, I couldn't get online. The staff went above and beyond, helping me set up internet access on my phone. They even provided me with a delicious breakfast free of charge! The hotel room was spacious, clean, and came with a super comfortable large bed. I traveled from Germany to Jinan for surgery, and being able to return to the hotel for a good rest after my operation was a huge relief! Today, at check-out, they even gave me a lovely pastry as a farewell gift! Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality! I hope to have the opportunity to visit Jinan again and stay at your hotel once more!"

"Both the hotel and Minghui Ancient Town are absolutely stunning! We booked two nights over the Qingming Festival and spent three days thoroughly exploring the ancient town and enjoying the hotel. I really loved the hotel's facilities and style. Our room overlooked a beautiful garden at the entrance of the ancient town, which was gorgeous. It was so relaxing to sip tea and enjoy the view from the window-side tatami, though I do wish there was a balcony. The hotel service was exceptional! All the staff were incredibly enthusiastic. The hotel has its own exclusive entrance for boat tours, which was very convenient. We took the boat both mornings, but it's a shame it only covers the outer half of the ancient town. The hotel also has a private viewing area for the evening performance, with shuttle service directly there. Unfortunately, there were too few seats, so we had to stand, which led to obstructed views and some arguments among guests. Minghui Ancient Town is breathtaking – every single spot is beautiful! The spring water goes without saying, but what truly stands out is the exquisite design and high level of interactivity. It took us three full days to take in every detail and participate in just a few activities. I highly recommend not only walking within the ancient town but also going up onto the city wall and walking around it – it offers a different, equally beautiful perspective! We will definitely be back again!"

"Stayed for 3 nights, location is very convenient, right next to the subway station. Front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast from 7am to 10am foods was ok, but some items were limited and not refilled, and no coffee provided. This hotel only has one lift, smoking are allowed in the lift made it very bad odour , too many deliveryman using this lift delivering food to the rooms, making the hotel no privacy, the room cleaning lady was very helpful and friendly. On the 3rd night at 1. 40am , all the lights in the room suddenly turned on, waking us up from sleeping , what an interesting experience for the stayed"

I am a guest who recently stayed at your hotel, and I am writing this letter with deep emotion and gratitude to sincerely thank Peipei from the front desk for her meticulous, warm, and thoughtful assistance and care during my stay. During my stay, I suddenly felt unwell due to consuming cold food the morning before. I developed a fever, felt weak and fatigued. Being alone in a new city, feeling sick, and physically and mentally exhausted, I felt incredibly helpless. Just when I was feeling unwell and at a loss, I called the front desk to ask for brown sugar and explained my situation. Peipei, the staff member, noticed my unusual state and proactively approached me with gentle concern, patiently asking about my health. Her entire demeanor was gentle and meticulous, making me feel incredibly at ease. Upon learning that I had a fever, felt weak, and had an upset stomach, Peipei didn't hesitate. She promptly and thoughtfully brought me appropriate medicine, fresh fruit, and specially prepared brown sugar, taking meticulous care of my health. She considered that my discomfort was caused by cold food, and thoughtfully prepared warming brown sugar to help regulate my body, alleviating my pain and discomfort with her attentive actions. Though it's an ordinary position, she possesses the warmest heart. These seemingly small gestures brought immense comfort and warmth during a time when I was unwell and alone in a foreign place, dispelling the low spirits and helplessness brought on by illness. Throughout the entire process, Peipei was consistently enthusiastic, sincere, meticulous, and thoughtful, embodying your hotel's excellent service quality and human touch through her professional and warm service. Her customer-focused, proactive, and considerate service attitude made me deeply appreciate the excellent qualities of your hotel staff, and also made my trip, despite an unexpected illness, filled with warmth. Once again, I sincerely thank front desk staff member Peipei for her heartwarming care!
