"Hotels near Quanzhou skyrocketed in price during the May Day holiday. I saw this place had great reviews and, since we were driving, we didn't mind staying a bit further out, so we booked two nights here. They have free parking. The alley leading in is a bit narrow, but the front desk staff were lovely. The room itself was a pleasant surprise, completely different from the exterior! It was very clean, which is super important when traveling with kids, and also very spacious. The room was incredibly bright! Definitely excellent value for money~ Highly recommend!"

The room cleanliness is excellent. Every afternoon, they provide complimentary fruit or traditional Chinese sweet soup, which is a rare and highly appreciated perk compared to other hotels in Shishi. My only minor complaint is that the tea bags in the room cost ¥15. Tea isn't expensive, so it would be great if they could provide two complimentary tea bags daily, especially since there's a tea set in the room anyway. 😢"

"I was genuinely surprised by my stay at this hotel! The price was very affordable, so I didn't have high expectations, but as soon as I entered the lobby, I was impressed. The decor was grand and upscale, truly giving off a star-rated hotel vibe. The room was spacious and meticulously clean, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The underground parking is free and even has charging stations. Plus, it's right next to a commercial area, making dining and shopping very convenient. To enjoy a high-star experience at an affordable price, the value for money is absolutely incredible."

"The front desk service was excellent, and check-in was fast. The hotel is located in the center of Jinjiang, making it very convenient for getting around. They offer a free shuttle service to and from Jinjiang Airport, which is a huge plus for travelers. There's also a large free parking lot, making it very car-friendly. The self-service coffee and tea in the first-floor lounge area are a thoughtful touch, available anytime. Breakfast was delicious, with ample time to eat without feeling rushed. Overall, the facilities and service are top-notch."

"The hotel looked nothing like the pictures. Several amenities they advertised were actually on a public beach and had nothing to do with the hotel itself. The staff seemed friendly at first glance, but it was all just for show (e.g., we booked afternoon tea, and when they said we were late, they promised to fit us in later, but never called us. For dinner, they said they'd try to get us a window seat, but when we arrived, the waitstaff said no such arrangement had been made). Days after checking out, I called the front desk to get an invoice, and they said the hotel would add me on WeChat. However, days passed and they never did. Even more disgusting is that I never review hotels, but after checking out, the hotel kept messaging us on WeChat asking for a good review. I hope everyone avoids this place."

"The service is definitely commendable. The staff member, Nan, was very friendly and efficient with the check-in process, and the room was spotlessly clean. The only downside is that the hotel's main sign is a bit small, and the parking directions are unclear. I had to drive around once to find it, which was quite disappointing for a first-time guest. I hope the hotel can add clearer and more prominent directional signs in both the underground parking lot and on the ground level. This improvement would greatly benefit guests arriving by car and enhance the overall experience by making the hotel's presence more apparent throughout the entire area."

Jinjiang Siji Garden Hotel (Jinjiang International Airport, Quanzhou)
"Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've had for a business trip. I paid 300 RMB for a 'deluxe king room' that, according to the pictures, was supposed to have a desk and a bathroom with wet/dry separation. What I actually got was a shabby room with a huge pillar in the middle blocking the view, no desk, a bathroom that opened directly onto the bed with no door, and the entire room was so incredibly damp it was practically uninhabitable. When I complained to the front desk, they initially said they were fully booked on the first night but promised to switch my room after some guests checked out. The next day, when I went to switch again, I was told I'd have to pay extra for a room with a large window and a desk. To add insult to injury, they claimed I was already in 'the best room type for this price range.' I was so exasperated I literally laughed. I seriously have to ask, is this what you call false advertising?! The front desk staff's attitude was abysmal – completely dismissive and condescending. I couldn't stand it anymore. I had originally booked a long stay for my extended business trip, but I immediately checked out and moved to a Huazhu hotel. I can't believe you charge 300 RMB a night for such a low standard. It's truly baffling."

"This stay overall exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! The hotel environment is clean and elegant, with both public areas and rooms impeccably maintained. What impressed me most was the service; from check-in to departure, the staff were all gentle and friendly, patiently responding to all requests and handling them efficiently and thoughtfully. I'd also like to thank the concierge for the room upgrade. The room itself was very comfortable, well-equipped, and wonderfully quiet. It's perfect whether you're out and about or simply relaxing. You can really feel the hotel's attention to detail in their service. The overall experience was superb, making my trip very comfortable. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely choose this hotel first on my next visit!"

"The hotel is new and everything feels fresh and well-maintained, which is a plus. They have smart controls like Xiao Du (AI assistant), disposable slippers, and even disposable face towels. However, it's located above a factory, and the noise from downstairs is quite loud. The soundproofing is genuinely poor. To make matters worse, there were a few young guys next door who were quite noisy; I could hear their conversations clearly, even as late as 3 AM. This is definitely a problem for light sleepers. Also, the parking lot is tiny, fitting only about 10 cars. When I arrived, it was full, so I had to park outside."

The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, making it incredibly relaxing to lie down on. Even though there were many guests checking in during the May Day holiday, the check-in process was quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, plus some delicious Southern Fujian specialty snacks. Getting around and shopping downstairs was very convenient, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and leisure options nearby. It's perfect for both family trips and gatherings with friends. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Jinjiang! 👍"
