"The room was excellent, although I will say it followed the usual Japanese hotel style with smaller rooms. There was, however, more than enough room for my husband and I. The bathroom was fabulous and everything was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to issues with the snow. The location is fairly central and in a really cute area with a train station very close."

"When I applied for a reservation, I declared that I would use a rental computer, but it was not offered at the time of check-in. I was given a towel. There are two elevators. There is a Niigata Nippo / Yomiuri Shimbun and an amenities / peanut bag in front of the elevator. There is a wall-mounted TV in the room. There is a subtitle switch on the remote control. Slippers are disposable. There was an ashtray because it was a smoking room. One bag of hojicha and Sencha taibags each. When I did the Galapon lottery the next morning, the prize was ."

"There is Wi-Fi and a shower toilet in the room. There is no refrigerator. The shower room in the room cannot be used. The food is excellent. The breakfast is as filling as dinner. You enter the room during the meal and have to make and take out the futon. There are no signs for the parking lot, so you have to ask. I was worried that this would cause a rift with the inn next door. They should at least put up a sign at the entrance as soon as possible. The hot spring was abnormally hot, so I had to turn the tap on full blast and wash my hair before I could get in. I recommend it if you don't expect anything other than the food."

"The room was really spacious by Japanese standards, and the service was excellent. Parking was available right in front of the door, and there were many restaurants within walking distance. I was driving from Hakuba to Niigata Port, and this was a stop along the way. I felt it was great value for money and was a very satisfying stay. Upon check-in, they noticed I wasn't Japanese and immediately sent me a brochure; it was very clearly written. I arrived in the afternoon, parked my car in the evening, and then walked to Gyu-Kaku restaurant for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed the yakiniku (grilled meat) that day."

"Very well run hotel directly across the road from the Naoetsu train station. Clean quiet room. I took the 8am train to Myoko Kogen 1 hr, 1080 Y. Then a 9.30am bus 380Y to Akakura to Snowboard. I enjoyed the trip and had to be in Naoetsu for other reasons. 7-11 nearby and lots of little restaurants.  The staff are very professional and friendly."

"It's an apartment used for touring, so it's clean. There are a few izakayas nearby at night, but if you want to eat and drink in your room, there's only a convenience store nearby, so it's better to stop by a supermarket to buy something to take with you. "The hotel is relatively new, well-equipped and hygienic. The hotel is close to Zhijiangjin Station, with jr and private rail lines, but the public transportation system in Shangyue is very poor, there are not many bus and private rail shifts, and the private rail station is also very far from the corresponding attractions. From the hotel, you can walk to Guofen Temple and Judo Shrine, and then you can walk all the way to Chunri Shrine and Chunri Mountain City City Trail Park, which basically covers the main attractions of Shangyue. Considering the traffic problems of Shangyue, living here may be a good choice"
