"Location is right by daishoji station. Room is rather small but also expected of a business hotel chain. The bed makes up for it, as it’s really comfy, ok for one to spend a night at."

"This was my first trip to Kaga Prefecture, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel was near the bridge, a popular landmark, and a short walk to a public onsen. It snowed for the first time that day, and it was beautiful. The city itself was very charming, similar to Kyoto and Kawagoe, but much more affordable. A highlight of the hotel was the large windows in the dining area; the photos taken against the snow were stunning. It would probably be even more beautiful during autumn foliage season. I highly recommend everyone to visit!"

"The hotel is old and a bit old, but it is well maintained and hygienic. The hot spring is particularly good. There is a shuttle bus to the Shinkansen station. The service staff is friendly and enthusiastic."

"My son gave me a voucher for a stay at Hoshino Resorts as a gift, and although I really wanted to go to Kyoto, due to time constraints I chose Kaga instead. There were both good and bad reviews online, so I didn't know what it would be like until I actually stayed there, but here are my impressions. When I went there using the navigation system, there was an employee in front of the store, but the "Kai" sign was small and hard to see, which was the starting point. There were carp streamers for the children? The chairs and tables in the lobby looked flimsy, and there was only one elevator. The slippers for use inside the building were also not great. The toilets were clean and OK. The beds were a little low. The yukata (cold) was a gray color that I didn't like. The hot spring was for a small number of people. The hot spring was average. I don't think it was a good idea to serve the food one dish at a time. It would have been better if they had served some of it at once. Something called abalone was served, but it was actually abalone imitation, tokobushi (fukudame). It was really disappointing. The taste was average. I had mentioned that it was an anniversary, so the inn thoughtfully presented us with dried flowers and a cake after the meal, which was nice. It was 50,000 yen per person, so 100,000 yen for a couple, but 30,000 yen per person would be OK."

"Overall it's good and the staff are very welcoming. I booked a private hot spring hotel, and the hotel provided private lounge service. This was a great surprise to me. But the hotel room is a bit old and the food is not very good! needs improvement"
