"The hostel is in an idyllic location, the staff is wonderful, the facilities are very, very good, but the mattress... If you don't mind sleeping on a mattress that's too thin, go for it. This review would have been 5 stars if they had a "normal" mattress. If you don't have trouble falling asleep and aren't going to spend many nights, there's no problem, but if not, you might not enjoy it as much."

"Overall, it was okay. However, I have one thing to mention. The check-out time listed on the website was before 10:00 AM, but the management came at 9:05 AM to rush us out. The reason was that the hotel's weekday check-out time is 9:00 AM. So, within 10 minutes, our family stuffed everything into their suitcases without even packing. We then checked out at 9:15 AM. The receptionist then charged us an extra 1,000 yen per person for a late check-out fee, totaling 3,000 yen. I personally felt bad. The website clearly stated a 10:00 AM check-out time, but when we actually checked in, we were "forced" to check out at 9:00 AM. Although this was explained at check-in, I'm not familiar with (or should I say, unable to understand) Japanese. This really gives me a bad impression of both the hotel management and TRIP.com's service. It seems like they're talking to each other because they don't understand the language."
