It was a Japanese-style room, spacious enough for our family of three, with a private bathroom and a direct ocean view. The indoor hot spring at the hotel was excellent. It's also not far from Mount Omuro if you're driving, about a 30-minute ride."

"The room face the ocean. Nice view. But the time to go onsen is rather limited in the morning, so it was a bit rush. Onsen closes at 930am to 11am. Check out is 10am. And breakfast last entry is 9am. You need to wake up early to enjoy the onsen. Dinner was served in the room. Although we enjoyed the privacy and the hot food, it made the room smell a little. Breakfast was buffet which had a lot of varieties!"

"A quiet onsen town, with traditional Japanese rooms. It's slowly becoming commercialized, and fewer places offer dinner and breakfast served in your room these days. This stay, however, was a great experience. Since it was our anniversary, the staff even arranged for us to have a pair of mandarin ducks in our room. They took photos of us and gifted them to us at check-out, which was a lovely touch. We visited on a weekday, so the public bath felt almost like a private one. Enjoying the public bath all to ourselves, gazing at the ocean and listening to the waves, was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's shuttle bus is super convenient, getting guests to Izu-Atagawa Station in just a minute."

"I booked this room after seeing an ad on social media, but then I saw the terrible reviews on Ctrip. I took a chance, hoping I'd get a newly renovated room. Turns out, I hit the jackpot (in a bad way): 1. The room was incredibly old. The bathtub looked just as creepy and terrifying as in other users' photos. 2. The room had a musty smell, a really old, stale musty smell. 3. For our pre-booked dinner, we were led to a small section far from the ocean view window. I noticed that all four or five tables that dined there after us were also Chinese speakers. 4. The dinner and sashimi weren't fresh; the fish meat was discolored internally. **After leaving the hotel, the more I thought about it, the more something felt off. I'm not sure if it was my nationality being targeted, or if Ctrip was being targeted.** 5. I found that the room type offered on Ctrip couldn't be found on Japanese websites. 6. I also found that the dinner booked through Ctrip was different from what was offered on Japanese websites."

"It was a very satisfying experience. The hotel is located on a hillside near the sea. Looking out from the lobby, it felt like being in France. The Japanese-style ocean view room I booked was very spacious, and the sunset in the evening was particularly beautiful. I also loved the yukata provided and took many beautiful photos."

"There is a bus from Shimoda Station at 2:00 or 3:00 and it takes 20 minutes to reach the hotel. There is Yumigahama Beach, but there are no attractions and no businesses. It is deserted and remote. The hotel is too old and even more deadly. You can only hear the sound of waves in the lobby and guest rooms, but you can't see the sea. It was tightly covered by pine trees, and my room could see the large bathing pool. The hot springs were very average. The Japanese-style room I booked had an unpleasant smell. It was dirty, old and shabby. The breakfast was too basic and tasteless. There is no such a shabby hotel. There is no place to stay. It is very old. I checked out at nine in the morning and took the transportation. I walked quickly for nearly 1,700 yuan without dinner. I am now 1,800 yuan in Kamenoi. The brand new executive sea view includes two meals. It should be a bad review for Biji Tour, but the service attitude is not bad. The hotel is not worth visiting at all."

"This is my second time staying here. Last time I stayed in a small room in the East Wing, but this time I stayed in a Deluxe Terrace Twin A in the West Wing. The price was higher, but it was the right choice considering the size and the great view. It was also close to the large public bath, which was nice. Dinner was shabu-shabu, and the portions were ample. It also came with a whole boiled golden-eyed snapper, which was very delicious. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. I enjoyed talking to several staff members who had been transferred from Akakura. The variety of food has increased since my last stay, and I would like to stay for another night."

"I enjoyed the space, the location were not too far from train station and the stunning view are just indescribable. The private bathroom is nice as well as the private onsen. Even though the staff did not mention about the tax we had to pay extra. Some parts of the room were not clean, the japanese doors had dust on each wooden grid attached in the photo. The food booking service is very very poor. We wanted to try their food but they said no due to head chef is away, i waited til the last day and tried to book again we also received a no. So we ended up having to find other things to eat. The outdoor onsen is also closed due to high waves, the staff mentioned no refund for us as well. I love that we get to enjoy the peaceful and warm japanese culture. Other than that everything is nice."

"The sea view is unbeatable, and it's a 5-6 minute walk from the station. They offer a shuttle service to the station upon checkout, by appointment. A centipede ran into my room... but they changed my room when I requested it, which was fine. I stayed for three days, and the breakfast was decent. The service was typical Japanese, meaning you couldn't really find any fault with it. The biggest surprise was on the day of checkout: there was a huge typhoon in Izu, all trains were stopped. While we were feeling helpless at the station, a hotel front desk staff member arrived! They told us that because we had previously booked a shuttle, they were taking us to the larger Izu-Kogen station! I was so touched! That's truly Japanese service, solving an urgent problem! Overall, it was really good!"

"Priced at 800 per person, our stay included two meals: breakfast and dinner, with unlimited fresh sashimi available at both. Each guest also received a whole Kinmedai (splendid alfonsino). We had access to three indoor private onsen baths, available 24/7, plus one outdoor private onsen which required a reservation; all private baths were complimentary. Due to the hotel's intimate size and limited guest capacity, we barely encountered any other guests besides the staff during our stay. With the Pacific Ocean right outside our window, it truly made for a relaxing and comfortable getaway."

"Excellent, I almost wished I could cancel my Fuji hotel and stay here longer. This time we stayed in room 103. For transportation, the hotel offers pick-up and drop-off at the subway station. I recommend emailing the hotel with your itinerary in advance so they can pick you up promptly at Okawa Station. As for the room, everything was great except for the small toilet, weak shower pressure, and some bugs in the outdoor bath area. If you mind the low water pressure in the room, you can always use the downstairs public bath, which feels like a private onsen. For service, there's a lovely lady from Taiwan who speaks Mandarin, and other staff members communicate perfectly fine in English. The hotel's dinner was also quite good. Just a heads up, there aren't many dining options nearby; the 7-11 is about an 8-minute walk away."
