The cucumbers were super crisp and fresh, and the yams were delicious and very sweet! The young man was incredibly kind; he helped with our luggage. Since we were driving, we arrived quite late, and he waited for us the whole time. He was very helpful and friendly. A very cost-effective guesthouse, highly recommended!"

"A camp hotel with absolutely stunning views! We stayed in a spacious twin room, which had its own private viewing terrace right outside the door. It offered unobstructed, panoramic views of the entire Xinduqiao valley, including mountains, rivers, and villages. I'd highly recommend this place even just for the natural scenery alone. The room was well-equipped with amenities, including underfloor heating and an oxygen concentrator. The toilet was automatic, making our stay very comfortable. There's also a restaurant on site; for dinner, we had the yak mushroom hotpot, which was absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When they heard about our next destination, they shared many useful tips and things to look out for on the road. The only thing to note is that the national highway in Xinduqiao can be quite narrow and prone to traffic jams, so it's best to plan ahead. P.S. I even managed to snap a photo of a small wild boar right next to the hotel restaurant 🐗!"

"The room was big and in a very authentic style which I loved it! The place is run by this lovely family and the daughter was the one helping with everything I needed with the use of a translator! I could use the laundry for free and the location was perfect, only few minutes walk from the monastery which is also the place where shared vans for the other destinations start! The only small thing is that would have been nice if the room was cleaned during my stay but probably I just needed to ask!"

The breakfast was incredibly considerate; because we were suffering from altitude sickness, they brought a full meal directly to our room. It was a well-balanced and nutritious mix of meat and vegetables. Plus, it's dog-friendly! It's definitely worth it, and I've already recommended it to my friends."

"The beds are bunk beds with wooden slats, and both the beds and room are quite small. If you open the window, you might get some bugs. You also have to put on the duvet cover yourself. The hostel is on the 3rd floor, and there's no elevator, so if you have a large suitcase, it might be a bit strenuous to carry it up. However, overall it's still very good, and the atmosphere is excellent. If you're just passing through Kangding for a night and plan to catch a bus the next day, I highly recommend this place. The bus station is right downstairs. I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit."

For a popular tourist destination like Xinduqiao, the pricing is incredibly competitive, offering excellent value for money. The surroundings and views are stunning; the distant mountains are a beautiful, deep hue, and on clear nights, it's perfect for stargazing and astrophotography. The container-style room itself offers a truly unique experience. It's incredibly well-equipped with amenities like a diffuse oxygen supply, underfloor heating, a bathroom heater, an electric skylight (ideal for stargazing), a projector, and a humidifier. These thoughtful touches absolutely won me over. The only minor drawback is that if it rains, the sound can be a bit more pronounced compared to a traditional concrete building. Also, marmots frequent the area directly beneath the container, and cows, pigs, and horses roam the surrounding hillsides. So, if you're a bit timid and staying alone at night, don't be alarmed by any unusual sounds – just roll over and go back to sleep!"

"I chose the All Seasons Hotel when I visited Kangding, and it was a truly great choice! The warm welcome from the front desk immediately after entering the lobby soothed me, and the fatigue from the high-altitude journey seemed to have been halved. The room had diffused oxygen, which was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and bright, and the bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up, and I slept soundly. The hot water was the most amazing thing. Having such consistent, hot water in Kangding is so important; a hot shower is so refreshing. The bathroom had a well-designed dry and wet area, and the smart toilet was very convenient. The toiletries were the usual All Seasons quality, leaving a refreshing feeling. The parking lot is free, spacious, and plentiful, making it very convenient. The breakfast variety was more than I expected, with porridge, noodles, and the local specialties butter tea and tsampa. Eating it hot, it gave me plenty of energy for the day. The front desk lady was especially helpful. Knowing we were going to Zheduo Mountain, she reminded us to dress warmly and drive slowly. Her kindness was evident in every detail. It's really a plus to be able to stay in such a comfortable and intimate hotel in Kangding! I will stay here again next time I come~"
