"We stayed 4 nights at the Samanea at the end of a busy trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. What a perfect spot to relax and be very well looked after. Our villa was beautiful, spotlessly clean and the outside shower was the icing on the cake, loved it! Jonathan and the whole team are amazing, always smiling and nothing too much trouble, thank you Nhan for our daily language lesson over breakfast! The resultant is great for breakfast and chilled area for dinner after the bustle of the cities. The hotel offers excursions, but were equally pleased to arrange a scooter hire for us, which was delivered to the hotel. It was my husband’s 60th birthday whilst we were there and we were given a bottle of bubbles, a birthday cake and Jonathan arranged for a private dining table in the gardens, which was lovely. The only problem with this resort is when we had to go home!"

"We had mixed feelings about this hotel, which isn't all that bad. After a tense first contact with the receptionist who wanted to be paid in Dollars or credit card upon arrival, even though we only had Riels, I still asked to see the room before paying. We had the room with a private jacuzzi. It's true that it needs a good renovation, which is a shame because the exterior is cute. We didn't dwell on the stains on the wall; it's Cambodia, after all. What wasn't cool was that our bed base was made of concrete, something we hadn't noticed during the tour. Otherwise, the pool was lovely with a sea view, but the breakfast was average, not very varied, and repetitive."

"This was our first trip to Cambodia and had a great experience! After the initial few days in Phnom Penh we went north to Siem Reap and Angkor Wat, finishing off with the last 4 nights down on the coast in Kep, staying at the Knai Bang Chatt. We visited late October, the end of the rainy season, so it was still a bit quiet in terms of tourist numbers. Knai Bang Chatt is a fantastic, small boutique hotel comprising a few old but well renovated villas from the French colonial era and the property runs down to the beach and the Gulf of Thailand. We had a great room with balcony overlooking the sea and the staff could not have been better, helpful at all times. They arranged a couple of trips for us, by tuk-tuk, around the surrounding area including a visit to one of the estates producing the famous Kampot Pepper. We also enjoyed a Kmer cookery class so thanks to Chef Chuon Sokheng and his team for that experience. The hotel itself is only a few minutes walk, or tuk-tuk ride, from the local crab market and the excellent selection of restaurants along the waterfront. We went to the Holy Crab, recommended by the hotel, and had had some excellent food, including the local speciality, Kampot Pepper Crab. Many thanks to all the hotel staff for making the last bit of our Cambodia trip so enjoyable and would recommend a holiday in Cambodia to anybody and, in particular, a stay at the Knai Bang Chatt."

Patrick, Jim and the staff provided excellent service and helped us arrange tours and transportation. The food was delicious and fresh. The breakfast omlette was amazing! The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. The location is walking distance to the Crab Market. We will definately be back!"

"We had an amazing stay at Kep Lodge Resort—beautiful garden bungalows, a relaxing infinity pool, and stunning sunset views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, arranging trips and sharing local tips. The food was delicious, especially the fish amok! A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the quiet charm of Kep. "From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. Our rooms were located on the 2nd level overlooking the sea with beautiful sea breeze in the evening and 180 degree view across the bay. The included breakfast provided ample choice with good size helpings. Recommend Tuk Tuk driver Sol was very polite and helpful and also arranged our trip to Rabbit Island. If climbing stairs are a problem suggest requesting a room on level 1"
