"Saravoan has the best location in Kep, overlooking a great little beach with excellent views of the islands,we have been staying there for holidays every year for the last nine years in which time a few managers have come and gone, the amenities have not changed much but quiet rustic and suit the rainforest environment,they now serve a free breakfast which this time was very good, service was as usual pretty good, sometimes requires patience but they are always helpful,to reception is poor and always has been but wifi is fine,pool is still clean and in great spot with views, moto rents are cheap and it’s a lovely ride to the crab market around the foreshore about one kilometre away, there are plenty of fancier hotels in Kep now but if you like location, views,close restaurants and reasonable service this one is the best hands down!"

Phu Quoc'a transfer rezervasyonu yaptırmam gerekiyordu. Bana 35 dolar teklif etti, tıpkı bir kardeş gibi. Şehirdeki herhangi bir acente bu hizmet için 25 dolar alıyor. Ona her zaman biletleri kendim alacağımı söyledim, ama benden almadan peşimi bırakmadı. 25 dolar indirim yaptı... Tavşan Adası'na (güzel bir plajı olan en yakın ada) bir gezi için, sabah 9'dan öğleden sonra 2'ye kadar gideceğimi söyledim; her yer 8-10 dolar. Sonunda, ödeme yaptığımda, 10 dolarlık para üstü yoktu ve gitmeden önce vereceğini söyledi... hayır, vermedi. Ayrıca, para üstü verirken bana 10 dolar verdi ki bu hiçbir yerde kabul edilmez. "After a lovely warm friendly welcome from manager Johnathan. We found Samanea wonderful resort to unwind in after a week of travelling around Cambodia. The rooms are amazing, clean, spacious and have a feeling of luxury. The outside bathroom is a wonderful experience. The food at the restaurant was really good and at a reasonable price. We had breakfast every day and an evening meal a few times. Lots of choice available.The gardens and the pool area are really beautiful and well kept. The location is great for a short tuk tuk ride to Kep Crab market, restaurants and beach. A little further to Kampot but well worth a visit. What makes this resort extra special is Jonathan and his team. The whole team go above and beyond to help make your stay really memorable. Special thanks to Khy Pet who looked after us so well at breakfast each morning. We highly recommend this resort."

"A very nice hotel in a tropical garden, a 10-minute walk from the market and very close to the national park. The continental breakfast is good but not very varied. The shower didn't work; the pipes were leaking and the tap was broken. It took two days to get it completely fixed. The Wi-Fi isn't very fast. I didn't like the traces of squashed insects on the walls."

"Lovely, quiet place with bungalows surrounding an excellent pool. If you book a room on the upper levels of the bungalows, then you are high amongst the trees which is a joy. All of the rooms have balconies and areas to sit and relax. Lionel is the French owner who was super helpful … organizing a couple of days Remorque (tuk tuk) excursions around Kep which we really enjoyed. $40 / day with English speaking driver called Su Kim who was really fun and explained various things to us en route. Tara Lodge itself is about 10 - 15 mins walk to the crab market . Kimly restaurant which is a 5 min walk from the market is by far the best resto along the sea front. Get there early, grab a table on the open veranda looking out over the sea - and watch the sun set. Perfect evening. Just a couple of small things - bathrooms a little tired, and breakfast could be improved. But - definitely worth a stay and great value."
