"This was by far the most comfortable experience in Kinmen! Hai Yuan Zi isn't just by the sea, but also super close to Kinmen Bridge, so we enjoyed the bridge's light show every night from the comfort of our room. Getting to Jincheng Township was also a breeze. I especially loved how spacious the room was; every single item, from the floor tiles to the lights, mirrors, and even the bathroom wall tiles, showcased the owner's impeccable taste and thoughtfulness. Plus, laundry was so convenient with a large drying area. It really felt like a hotel in terms of quality, but with the warm, personal touch of a B&B. Thank you, Hai Yuan Zi, for a wonderful vacation! Oh, I almost forgot to mention the breakfast! They offer local specialties, and I chose the Cantonese congee. It was even better than Yongchun, with a fragrant shallot oil and what I believe were the best fried dough sticks from Heji. A truly heavenly combination! Another unique find was the brown sugar steamed bun—I'd seen influencers rave about it but never found it until now. They also provide fresh fruit and drinks, and as someone who needs coffee every morning, having freshly brewed coffee was pure bliss. I felt so spoiled!"

"The B&B offers thoughtful pier and airport pick-up and drop-off services, which really put our minds at ease and saved us from worrying about fitting large luggage into a car. The breakfast included delicious meat buns, steamed buns, soy milk, milk, and steamed eggs. The bed and pillows in the room were just right—neither too soft nor too hard—making for a great night's sleep. When we wanted to rent a scooter, the owner even drove us to the rental shop. This excellent service saved us a lot on taxi fares and time. Some reviews mentioned that the B&B is in a somewhat remote location, but I personally disagree. If you want to explore all of Kinmen and Lesser Kinmen, isn't that exactly what you'd want to do—visit every corner? Besides, directly across from the B&B is Zhushan Village, where you can stroll around and admire the beautiful traditional Minnan-style architecture. If I ever visit Kinmen again or transit through Kinmen to Xiamen, I will definitely choose this B&B again."

"The hotel's location is a bit far from Jincheng Town, but Jinhu itself feels relatively new and clean. Downstairs, there's a duty-free shop, though it closes quite early. There's also a supermarket for late-night essentials, a McDonald's, and even a small night market. It's quite close to the Old Street, which is nice for a stroll, and there's a large, pleasant lake outside. Across the street, you'll find convenience stores, making it easy to grab anything you need. Dining options in the evening are a bit limited in the immediate vicinity. The hotel does have a restaurant, but the food is just okay. As for the rooms, they are pretty standard, with slightly older facilities, but they are clean. The breakfast was good, a bit pricey, but satisfying. There was a delicious coffee jelly, but unfortunately, it wasn't available the next day. If I get the chance to visit Kinmen again, I'd still consider staying at Jinhu."
