"Not only was it such a unique experience to stay in a Minnan / fujian traditional house, the house is beautifully restored and wonderfully updated to suit modern comforts. The Chen family was also so kind and genuine, we immediately felt welcomed the moment we stepped in! Everything a traveller could need was thought of and as a result our stay was super comfortable, I really appreciate all of the small thoughtful touches, and also being able to try all the local delicacies for breakfast! I would have to say it was simply one of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in.
