"Tesisin en kötü odaları olan tepedeki odalarda kaldık. Tesisin geri kalanına inmek için engebeli ve bakımsız basamaklardan tırmanmanız gerekiyordu. Islak terliklerle yürümek zordu. Duştaki suyun basıncı da düşüktü. Plaj ve deniz manzaralı villalar muhteşem görünüyordu, bu yüzden eğer yapabiliyorsanız rezervasyon yaptırmaya çalışın. Havuz denize bakıyordu, bu harikaydı ve plaj küçük olmasına rağmen düzenli olarak temizleniyordu ve her zaman şezlong bulabiliyordunuz. Ayrıca bolca gölgelik alan vardı. "I and my family and friends altogether 24 people stayed from 29 Dec 22 to 2 Jan 23, 11 rooms from 20 rooms that hotel has total. The service is poor and take long time especially food serving during dinner. The GALA DINNER on 31 Dec night was very poor quality, less variety, clear soup and tom yam soup are cold because there is warming system for soup. The cost of GALA DINNER is THB 3,000 per person but the value is only 1/3 of the cost in my opinion. BBQ Seafood take long time to wait. The music is just one electron and also be singer. The most surprising is another singer is BBQ Chef who still on duty. Then BBQ was handle by some waitress/ waiter. And unbelievable is hotel staffs told that on 31 Dec lunch, they can not sell or serve us any meal because kitchen will he busy with GALA Dinner food. We as guests need to find our own lunch from other places! However after negotiations, they had solution to serve only a few menus. We all finish our Gala by 8.30 pm which it was our shortest New Year party in my life. From 6-8.30 pm, only 2.30 hours !!! Maid service was done from 4-5 pm everyday. If anyone want more information, i am happy to share my bad experience with you. I don't want you to waste money on the bad and poor hotel like this."

"Great location, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and just 50m from the beach. Free taxi service to and from the port was a huge plus. The staff were incredibly helpful; we asked for a scooter and it was ready for us within a minute, no deposit or fuel/scratch checks needed when returning it. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed in an industrial style – we felt right at home and very well looked after. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. Highly recommend!"

"When we arrive, we were the only guests. Kitchen was open but we had to order diner ahead. Rooms are oké, big bathroom. The view was fantastic, just beatiful. Infinity pool. For us the place was to far Swayze from other shops and restaurants, you needed a motorbike. Staff was very help full."

"This is such a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the chill vibes of the island. We’d been to Lazy Days several times previously, but had not been here for several years. We were pleased that it was still as wonderful as we remembered. We came here to celebrate a milestone birthday, and it was the memorable occasion we had hoped for. We were pleased that we could rent a golf cart this time, which gave us the opportunity to explore other parts of the island, even for my husband with limited mobility. Thank you to the wonderful staff for the hospitality."

"Yola çok yakın, bisiklet kiralama yerlerinin de bulunduğu güzel bir konukevi. Yakınlarda birçok restoran ve büyük bir plaj var. Odaların önündeki alan küçük ama çok güzel. Oda küçük ama ihtiyacınız olan her şey mevcut: su, tuvalet kağıdı, kahve, kağıt havlu, diş fırçası ve sabun. "WARNING THIS IS A FULLMOON PARTY PLACE AND BEACH, This is probably the most difficult review I ever written, because Koh Mak resort is worth at least three stars. Why do I just rate it one? We spent five night after Christmas here. Three nights and days was totally destroyed because of Full moon party’s with really really strong music on the beach until 06,00 in the morning. Those were held at our hotel and neighbourhood resorts. In my opinion the hotel owners choose easy and fast cash when agreed to let them have the party at their places before taken care of guests like family’s and elderly that can afford this hotels in the long run. Our hotel solved it by giving us back money for three nights. But still my vacation was ruined and me and along several more guest will never go back. JUNKIE ISLAND All over the island we meet stoned people, junkies and drunken youth that visited full moon party night time. On the beach there were so mutch litter and even needels. So I think Koh Maak hotel owners are up to desied what kind of destination they would like to be. SO THIS IS A WARNING, ask before you make a reservation at Koh Mak resort and other resorts. Koh Mak resort it self is in many ways good. It’s located beautiful and the staff especially front desk manager and the two men there were great. Hotels restaurant ain’t that good, messy and not any cosy at all. Chose others. The small cafe is nice! The same family runs the neighbourhood resort Sevana. It’s fantastic!!! Cool restaurant, super friendly staff and great food. Thanks for a fantastic new year’s dinner."

"This was our fourth visit to Koh Mak but our first time here and it certainly won’t be the last now that we have discovered it. The bungalow was huge, probably one of the most spacious on the island, large bedroom, large bath by the window yet private, shower and separate loo. A fabulous veranda with stunning views as well as chairs and sun loungers and serviced every day. The place was immaculately clean, well maintained and appointed with large bed and quality bedding. The beach and lawn were attractive and again well maintained with sun beds, a shower and kayaks. Breakfast was superb with everything you could wish for and the restaurant is popular with visitors as well as it has a very good reputation. We ate here every evening for ten days as there was so much choice and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The real secret of this place to us was the wonderful staff who were so friendly and we got to know so well and had fun with. The power house there is a charming lady called Jill who manages the place who can fix anything or advise you on trips etc. she arranged scooters and in house massages for us which were superb. It’s a great quiet location yet close to everything and the most amazing people, thank you for such a great time."
