"I've stayed at this hotel twice, and both times they've messed up the bill at checkout. This last time, I had booked a double room but ended up staying alone. The front desk said they couldn't refund the difference but offered a complimentary room upgrade for the next day. However, when I checked out, they tried to charge me for the upgraded room, which is just ridiculous. The front desk staff's English is very poor; we had to rely solely on a translator, which made communication extremely inefficient and wasted a lot of time."

I subscribed to their dinner and breakfast which was pretty good. I definitely live the wooden bathtub in my room. They have shuttle services to and from Arima Onsen region. The only complain I have is the weak wifi."

"This hotel is grand and impressive, even feeling a bit like a shopping mall from the outside. Its location is fantastic, right next to Shin-Kobe Station, with direct access via subway exit B3. Plus, you can easily walk to the Nunobiki Falls, which offers a lovely, fresh atmosphere. It's perfect for a vacation. As for dining, the hotel has everything, from wagyu BBQ to Chinese cuisine. They also offer borrowing services and luggage storage. Overall, it's highly recommended!"

There's no bath in the room, only a public bath, so be sure to check the hours. Tattoos are not allowed. They also dropped me off at the Rokko Mountain Ropeway entrance, and there's a trailhead nearby, so you can go hiking too!!! It was fantastic!!!"

"Hotel Plaza Kobe on Rokko Island is an upscale hotel, newly renovated in 2012. Be careful not to confuse it with the Kobe Plaza Hotel in Motomachi – the word order is different! The hotel is located in front of the Kobe Fashion Museum and is connected to the Sheraton by a covered walkway. The hotel has 18 floors in total, and we stayed in a 17th-floor triple room with excellent views overlooking the Kobe Port seascape. The reception is on the third floor; the entrance is quite simple. There are two front desk stations; their English is average but their attitude is friendly. Disposable amenities are available for self-service to the side (convenient, though we brought our own toothbrushes and toothpaste). If you have children, a special kids' toiletries set will be provided. The bathroom isn't a wet-dry separation design, but it's well-designed and convenient to use. A children's step stool wasn't provided, but we easily bought one for 500 yen at Daiso downstairs, which could also be used for sitting during baths. The Wi-Fi password was complex, but the signal was good. The hotel provides two bottles of drinking water daily, and there's a water dispenser on each floor near the elevator, dispensing 180ml per press. The air conditioning was quiet, and the bedding was comfortable. On the other side of the lobby is the plaza's public area, which has a large trampoline that kids love. However, it gets very crowded with children after 4 PM, so extra caution is needed for younger kids. The buffet breakfast restaurant is on the 18th floor. After being seated, one side of the placemat says 'eating' and the other says 'finished.' Generally, not many Chinese guests stay at Hotel Plaza Kobe, so breakfast time is relatively quiet, allowing for a very pleasant dining experience. Breakfast mainly consists of Japanese and Western dishes; the variety isn't extensive, but several traditional Japanese small dishes taste great, and the hot udon noodles are very comforting for the stomach. The salad is fresh, and there's one dish where you need to cut the roots yourself. The bread and desserts are almost the same every day, but the situation at the neighboring Sheraton is pretty similar. Overall, the staff's attitude is genuinely excellent. Both the restaurant and housekeeping departments are commendable, and the cleanliness is exceptionally meticulous, which is better than the Sheraton. It offers great value for money."

"We had a great 1 night stay at this hotel! This was a wonderful experience! Although we only spent 1 night here, as this was meant to be an overnight stop between cities in our travel road trip, this left such a good impression on us, that we would like to come back to Akashi just to stay in this hotel again. The architecture and the hotel design is very cool, 50's kind of vibe, but it's new of course. The hotel has a club lounge where we could unwind after the drive with complimentary snacks and drinks, including alcohol, and all was free and unlimited. The room was super spacious and designed nicely, with a huge hot tube jacuzzi, and since we took the ocean view room, the view overlooking the ocean and bridge was just breath-taking 👌 The breakfast was just right, and they totally accommodated my meal requests and accomplished to have a very good result... 5 stars here and I would totally want to come back!"

"Transportation: There are two buses, No. 2/18, downstairs. Both can go to Sannomiya. No. 2 runs every 5 minutes, which is quite convenient. It is also very convenient to go to Mount Maya and Fubiki. No. 18 goes directly to the Maya Cable Car. No. 2 goes to Guanyin Temple and walks there. There are no places to eat around. You must eat before returning to the hotel. There is a family mart 300 meters away. There are no convenience stores besides this. It belongs to the local residential area. The apartment has 7 floors. If you choose a high floor, you can see the sea. It is very beautiful. You can see the sunrise and sunset. Behind you are Mount Maya and Mount Rokko. The scenery is very good. It is very quiet at night. There are no pedestrians on the street. Facilities: The room is relatively old. The elevator is also very old. It is a very old-fashioned elevator. You have to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The hot water is directly put at the hottest. There is no need to add cold water because it is not very hot. There are no bath slippers. Basic facilities are available. It is okay after you get used to it. The highlight is that there is a children's room. The landlord's assistant is an aunt from Shenyang. She is very kind. The landlord is a foreigner. He is very enthusiastic. He introduced it for a long time on the first day."
