"Phuket'teki Life Hotel'de kalabileceğimi hiç ummuyordum. Bir otel seçerken, ilk görüşte bu otele ilgi duydum. Kesinlikle orijinal Güneydoğu Asya tarzı, tüm otel. Zemin hariç, çimento malzemesi yok, hepsi ahşap yapılar. İlk başta, hala sürat teknesiyle adaya ulaşmakta zorlanıyordum, bu biraz zahmetliydi. Ama ilk görüşte aşık olduğum bir otelde kalmam gerektiğini düşündüm. Burayı seçtiğime kesinlikle pişman olmayacağım, harika! !"

"Generally a nice hotel with decent food, nice pool and a beach with beautiful views. Cottage is fine if not afraid of insects. The biggest letdown was actually the staff, they never smiled, they never acted polite and seemed to be depressed. For a beach resort you would expect at least some general happiness with greetings."

"We stayed here for three nights in a Honeymoon Villa. It’s most definitely a 3*+ place and not 4*. The room was ok, and as others have said a few more power outlets wouldn’t go amiss. The bed was ok for a few hours and after that becomes a bit of a torture device. The pool is ok, but by modern standard a bit of an uninspired block. All ‘ok’ rather than ‘wow’. The main issue with the place though is the restaurant, it really is properly terrible. If you are on a package including evening meal then that gets you the set menu, which is the same every day. And that menu is a choice of one thing - the same unchanging thing every day. You will have the same thing day after day unless you then pay for something else. And God help you if you are vegetarian as then the food options then really are awful. Technically the restaurant is run separately to the hotel as you pay them separately, but to all intents if you are a guest it is the hotel’s restaurant, in the hotel grounds, where you have breakfast, etc. If you are going here, it’s ok, but think of it as a 3* and you’ll be pleased, but not as a 4*. And do not eat here, rent a scooter and there are really good restaurants 5-10 minutes away to the right at the top of the road, or about 25 minutes away to the left. On the subject of the scooters, the hotel charges 700 baht a day for them, but walk five minutes to the top of the road and the place up there is 250 baht for the day. The hotel also gets very finger-waggy about ‘if you have a puncture you pay for recovery and for the new tyre’, but given the state of the roads a puncture is hardly the fault of the rider and is an inevitability at some point for some poor rider. Seems excessively harsh."

"Simply Magical! This resort is an ethereal slice of paradise in the middle of the sea. Limestone cliffs and islands strewn across the turquoise backdrop of a pristine white-sand beach, topped only by the 5 - star service you receive from the very first moment of contact during transport to Koh Yao Noi. The child-free atmosphere is peaceful and quiet enough to enjoy the music of the island's natural wildlife. Then theres the villas. We stayed in a treehouse villa, and my only complaint is that they did not force me to book more nights. The 2- story treehouse catered to my inner child and gave it the biggest, most luxurious hug it has ever felt. We will be back, and it will undoubtedly be for much longer next time."

"Several years ago, I gave Six Senses Yao Noi five stars. I returned expecting nostalgia; instead … I am a regular Six Senses guest because its formula is exactly what I crave after busy London life: nature-led, rustic luxury, traditional wooden villas, private pools and uninterrupted ocean views. The scenery here remains the undisputed star. Phang Nga Bay has aged magnificently. Unfortunately, parts of the resort have not. Rustic can still be polished. This time, the property felt noticeably tired and dated rather than deliberately understated. Our Deluxe Ocean Pool Villa was spacious, secluded and wonderfully atmospheric, with a large deck, outdoor shower and complete privacy. However, basic updates are overdue: ageing power sockets and switches, dated shower heads with slow water pressure and television, and a ceiling fan that the cap appeared to be coming loose. None of these improvements would compromise the resort’s natural character; they would simply restore the “luxury” part of rustic luxury. The arrival experience also felt more like the opening scene of The White Lotus than heartfelt hospitality: management and staff assembled at the jetty, smiles delivered, box ticked. Our assigned GEM—Guest Experience Maker—did not appear, and another employee handled our arrival. Our villa was understandably not ready before the official 3 p.m. check-in, and a day room was provided. However, at 3 p.m., our GEM was occupied elsewhere and again did not appear. A question raised to this staff member during check-in remained unanswered the following day; when we asked our GEM directly, she bluntly said the other staff member would “get back to us.” I thought the entire point of having a GEM was not having to chase the rest of the jewellery box. The general manager greeted us on arrival, then disappeared from the series entirely. A brief presence at breakfast or dinner would have made the welcome feel more genuine and less ceremonial. Food was generally excellent, particularly the Thai cooking. Nithan, the Southern Thai restaurant, was delicious, although it only opens on alternate evenings with The Living Room. The mosquito-repellent incense occasionally overpowered the food while apparently failing its only job as we were still surrounded by flies attracted to the lights. Breakfast remained a highlight, especially the à la carte menu. The buffet selection felt more limited than at other Six Senses resorts, and the noodle soup was rather sweet for my taste. The complimentary all-day ice cream, however, was an excellent touch. Even the spa disappointed, which genuinely surprised me given my consistently good experiences with Six Senses. My massage felt procedural rather than attentive as though each stroke, pressure point and movement was being completed from a checklist rather than delivered with care. Six Senses Yao Noi still occupies one of the most spectacular settings imaginable, but spectacular scenery should not be expected to distract inde"

"It feels like a brand new 8 villa resort. Or just perfectly maintained. A warm welcome at the pier for a complimentary 25 minute ride to the resort. Welcomed as if we were royals, by Bambie and her team at the resort. The villa had everything you wished for. A plunge pool with jacuzzi. An amazing sunrise view. And tasteful furniture and amazing bed. Every day the staff made sure it was spic and span. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. During our stay there was limited occupancy, but the resort was fully operational. The beach bar was open and so was the restaurant. Their Thai Seafood salad plus extra white rice was to die for: a light, but tasteful dinner.  Nothing to complaint we’re already looking forward to a next stay. Thanks Barbie and team, we wish you well!"

"It was AMAZING. Staff are so nice helping you with anything. Food is BRILLIANT recommend the broccoli and shrimp so nice and also the meat set dish. The hotel is in the jungle so expect a couple bugs not hotels fault though. Loads of tropical animals in area so nice to see geckos. Some amazing views on top of that there is a cocktail bar with LUSH sitting places can see loads of islands. Finally it’s a really ENVIRONMENTALLY friendly place."

"Tayland gezimizdeki en iyi otel. Oraya vardığımızda güzel manzara karşısında büyülendik. Resepsiyon çok dost canlısıydı ve hemen hoş karşılandığınızı hissettiniz. Odaların hepsi kendi bungalovlarında, sevgiyle döşenmiş, çok temiz ve büyük bir terasa sahip. Bungalovlar doğrudan ormanın içinde yer alır ve yataktan harika bir manzaraya sahiptir. 2 adet havuz bulunmaktadır. Küçük olan ise oldukça eskimiş olup sadece birkaç tatilci tarafından kullanılmaktadır. Havuz barlı ve restoranın hemen bitişiğindeki ana havuz harika! Eşsiz bir manzara daha! Otel personeli çok yardımsever, özellikle de resepsiyondaki Ochi. Otelin yemekleri her zamanki gibi güzel ama dışarıya göre biraz daha pahalı. Ana caddeye doğru kısa bir yürüyüşten sonra fiyat-performans oranı çok iyi olan harika bir restoran bulacaksınız. Kahvaltı çok iyi. Adada görülecek çok fazla şey yok. Scooter'lar doğrudan ana caddeden kiralanabilir. Ayrıca sepetli scooterlar da var. Sokaklarda pek bir şey olmuyor, dolayısıyla emin olmayan sürücüler bile burada iyi geçinebiliyor. Otel doğrudan sahilde yer almaktadır ancak gelgit her zaman düşük olduğu için yüzmek için pek uygun değildir. Ko Yao Yai Köyü'nü çok sevdiğimiz için kalışımızı 3 günden 6 güne uzattık."
