The location of this home stay is absolutely first class. It has excellent view, especially for sunrise. IT’s environment is quiet and relaxing. It is definitely for easy holidays goers, especially for family. Friendly reception and staff. The short coming is the restaurant that only open from Thursday to Sunday and only catering breakfast when you have a ten pax staying. Sound odd, but this fact made much inconvenient for visitors that have no transportation. They have interesting amenities such as beach buggies, but visitors need to find out from the reception or when you check in.

Featuring a garden, Friendly Hotel is located in Kudat in the Sabah region, 2 km from Kudat Airport and 3.4 km from Kudat. With free WiFi, this 2-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and room service. The hotel features family rooms. At the hotel, each room is fitted with a desk. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a bidet and slippers, guest rooms at Friendly Hotel have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms are equipped with a seating area. The first overseas hotel evaluation, dedicated to Dolphin Island Resort🐬 I promised my children to take them abroad once before they go to elementary school, and I can’t break my promise. I chose Kota Kinabalu as the destination, and I can watch the sea, dig sand, snorkel and watch fish, which my children love. When choosing a hotel, I chose a phobia outbreak. I hesitated for a long time. I trusted my intuition and chose this hotel. The fact is that it is really delicious! highly recommended! After the reservation, the staff contacted me and added WeChat, and the various precautions were very clear. After check-in, every staff member is very nice, it can be said that they are responsive to every request. Eat, live and play in a few days, everything is quite satisfactory. There is a local lady named Snowman among the staff who can speak Chinese! There is also a handsome guy who can't speak Chinese, that's the one in picture 2. He is very careful with the children, and he keeps teaching our babies to swim and snorkel, which is touching... There are performances at night, which are very lively. When leaving, the child said that he would like to come here next time.

Kudat Riviera was awesome! We stayed at Casuarina Palms Villa and it was a luxurious stay. The staff Francisca, welcomed us with a very heart-warming welcome, even though we arrived there a bit late and she’s willing to assist us with everything that we requested for. Kudos to the breakfast and dinner team, Olga, Eli, and Fadzli for preparing delicious meal for us. The villa is enormously big, facing by the beach. Its good for couples to have their honeymoon or perhaps anyone who just want a sweet escape from works and stuff. I’m sure will be staying here again. Thank you Kudat Riviera for letting us having this wonderful experience.

This is one accommodation that my research doesn't prepare me for what to expect. My first impression was that the place catered to foreign tourists only. As they had yet to return after the lifting of Covid restrictions, the facilities and service had been allowed to deteriorate. Which was a pity as I liked the views of sunrise from this property. So, here are the minuses: 1. Lots of flies and mosquitoes throughout the day 2. Too far from anywhere, even the beach, which was across the road and didn't appear suitable for swimming. To go anywhere, expect to pay for a round trip of at least RM40 which is to town. Diyana, the manager, offered to arrange for takeaway meals with a payment of about RM10. 3. Private car transport from /to KK cost RM300, rather expensive compared to catching a taxi from Kudat town. 4. Overall, facilities and service were spartan. I'd hoped that breakfast would include local fruit at least. Many guests would not be used to the no-toilet tissue paper practice. The front door needed TLC - the concern was entry of mosquitoes, although netting over the bed was provided. I would not recommend my friends to stay here.

The scenery is very good and the stay is very comfortable. It is recommended to stay in the most expensive room type near the sea. Suitable for lying down and staring at the stars. Disadvantages: The food is very average, the omlette for breakfast is sour. The drinks in the bar are a bit expensive. There is a circled area on the beach where you can row. If you exceed the circle, someone will remind you. It is relatively safe. It is not recommended for those who like adventure. The entire island is not very developed, so there are no decent restaurants and bars. Basically, you can only eat in the hotel. The drinks are very poor. They are all mixed fruit juice and sugar water. Coffee and hot tea are just okay. I drink three cups of coffee every day. There are only 2 kinds of fruits but they are relatively sweet. There are not many items to play, and the introduction at the front desk is not very detailed. You need to go to the sign at the entrance of the dive shop to see what time the departure time is and what fun things there are. The sign is not very clear. The sunrise and sunset in the morning and evening are not written, so you have to ask yourself to know more clearly. There was snorkeling in the afternoon, but we only went to one diving spot, which lasted about half an hour. It didn’t feel very enjoyable.

Spacious and accessible for wheelchair user. Ramp and grab bars (toileting area) available but not at bathing area. Only bed room installed with air-con but ceiling fans available. Drinking water tap available in the bath room and room service (food) available. Small fridge available but no dining table provided. Convenient to Poring park and rainforest restaurant. But quite risky to rainforest restaurant at night for wheelchair because no lighting at pathway ( from ramp area to the restaurant). No telephone or intercom available at the jungle lodge but walking distance to the main office.
