"We visited this resort in the last week of March 2026. The property is surrounded by lush green snow-capped mountains. The property is part of a giant apple orchard with very few rooms making it quiet, spacious and between nature. The best part about this hotel is its lovely staff. The front desk staff mr. Ranjit, Mr. Vikson and Ms. Shabnam very truely hospitable and ensured a smooth check in. The kitchen staff, Chef Mukesh and Chef Nandlal made sure we were well fed and catered to all our requests very proactively. The waiting staff Mr. Ankit, Mr. Amit and Mr. Punesh pampered us and made our restaurant experience amazing. Overall this is one of the finest property that I have visited and will highly recemmond and will visit soon."

"The hotel is located in a very pristine area though around 4-5 kms ahead of Manali but had the advantage of visiting Atal tunnel and Rohtang without getting stuck in traffic as there was a separate road directly leading to palchan area. the hotel is located directly opposite to an apple orchard, with enough parking space within the hotel premises. We had two different road options to reach mall road, one from the old manali side and other from the Rohtang road side. The hotel is having only two floors but thoughtfully a lift had been installed for the guests. For recreation there is a pool table and carrom available in the hotel and most surprisingly guests are not charged even for using the pool table which is quite rare. The food served was good and always tasted fresh. The room and washrooms attached are of standard size having all the amenities as are usually expected from a Hotel vis a vis the amount being charged. There were frequent power cuts in Manali during the days we stayed there but each and every time within few seconds power back up – genset was switched on so we didn’t have to face any issue with it. The view from the rooms is splendid, no words, the moment we drew the curtains, we use to witness snow-capped peaks even in month of June. There is small market in the vicinity of the Hotel, hardly 100-120 steps away having a chemist shop and 3-4 grocery stores and a wine store. The staff was extremely cooperative and went out of their way to arrange a special seating setup for us in the green belt adjoining the hotel, located 30–40 steps below the parking area. They even served us snacks there, ensuring a delightful and personalized experience. The morning breakfast was standard menu – fresh fruits, eggs to order, corn flakes, idli/uttapam on alternate days, puri bhaji/cholley bhature, porridge/oats, paranthas, tea/coffee, etc. The dinner was also standard menu with soup, salads, one non-veg main course, dal, paneer, one other veg item, rice, breads and a desert. Overall the food was good with balanced spices, never had any issue of acidity, etc. The best part was the “TROUT” served with butter and lemon sauce. In my opinion its best value for money option one can get in Manali. In April I stayed in a five star hotel in Manali only and paid around 4 times more than what I paid here but now I feel the experience was not worth the price paid for it. Will highly recommend and surely visit again."

"We stayed here for one night whilst travelling to Shimla. It’s a comfortable hotel, but not quite up to the level of other hotels of a similar rating that we’ve stayed in elsewhere on our trip. The restaurant food was excellent (highly recommend the chocolate brownie) and reasonably priced (again compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in India). We’re British so this review should bear this in mind! The hotel was very quiet when we went as it’s just the start of the main season. There were only a few guests so the staff were exceptionally attentive to the point of being over attentive. It was uncomfortable at times especially when we had 4 members of staff around our table at dinner and were watched the whole time. Anyway, they asked us to write a review (more than once), so we’ve obliged."

"Had booked The Himalayan on a friends advise and I must say it was an amazing, out of the world stay for 4 nights . Just as in the pictures it gives a real feel of staying in a castle . The rooms were quite big and beds most comfortable. Of course the view from the windows of the snow capped mountains and Manali town below was just too good to be true. The property with beautiful gardens, a pool & cottages around it made us feel so relaxed and we felt bad when our stay was about to end. The persons at the reception were most polite and helpful to all our queries about how and where to visit around Manali. Every evening they had a map for us with all places marked out for our visits the next day. Of course I must mention the breakfast spread and few meals we had for dinner, just amazing. We will definitely come back & stay here again for our next visit. Thank you The Himalayan for making our holidays special."

"Please dont ignore the negative reviews. I have ignored negative reviews and took a risk to book. As some of the reviews said, the owner Mr.Imtiyaz is very rude. Only plis point is Property is good. I have requested him many times that please give the cottage near to river. But he said thats booked, but during our stay that cottage was vaccant. All the staff, they are like very unprofessional. Even the day manager. They treat you like you booked the room for free. Above all, the chef who make the food is big zero. Served manchow soup with fried noodles that are raw, not cooked. Didnt have tandoori roti. Everything is like messed up there. No professional team. I took the risk by ignoring negative reviews, so its your choice. The only best thing is the property that is near to river bank. But there is no proper stairs to access the river from property, they tied an aluminium stair with the railing. Staff is not professional. So dont ignore the negativr reviews. Else you will ruin your holidays. "
