We met this beautiful deer in front of our room who came to eat fresh herb and drink from the stream, letting herself be watched in peace and transmitted to us a huge peace and gratitude. "The front desk staff was a bit serious, but communication was smooth. The triple room wasn't huge, but it wasn't tiny either, and we had enough space to open a large suitcase. Complimentary bottled water was provided in the room. Both the mattress and pillows were quite comfortable. Overall, it was a good stay."

"I've always enjoyed staying at Dormy in! hotels because the rooms are always clean. However, there were just too many guests, and the onsen (hot spring) was constantly crowded, so we only managed to go once during our three-day, two-night stay. We paid extra for the hotel's onsen in Hokkaido, but it was a bit disappointing not to enjoy it. While the breakfast was good, and the complimentary ramen in the evening was delicious, and there were several types of free ice cream, considering the hotel's large capacity and its location not being very close to the station, I probably won't stay at the Kushiro Dormy again."

"I had an enjoyable stay at Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga. The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere and is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of Lake Akan. The service was excellent throughout my stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, always greeting guests with a smile and making every interaction pleasant. Their hospitality really enhanced the overall experience. The onsen facilities were one of the highlights of the hotel. They are spacious, beautifully designed, and have a luxurious feel, offering a great variety of indoor and outdoor baths. The only minor drawback was that the top-floor outdoor bath did not appear to be as clean as the other baths. Overall, the onsen experience was still great. The room was a little on the compact side, but it was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, I had a great stay and Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga is a great choice in Lake Akan."

"I stayed for three nights, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to the JR station, and across the street from the bus center, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel breakfast curry is delicious, and they even offer ochazuke (rice with tea) in the evenings, though it was a bit salty. The public bath is quite small with limited space. This hotel is perfect for solo travelers, and you can walk to Nio Bridge to watch a beautiful sunset."

"The location is near the Coin Bridge, convenient with many restaurants nearby, but unfortunately, it's very windy and cold due to the river. The receptionist doesn't speak English, but tried her best to answer questions. The facilities are a bit old, and the air conditioner is very noisy. Free coffee is available downstairs, so overall it's not bad."

"This hotel is very good! Check-in with password! Breakfast is included. It is next to the station. Akan Bus Terminal is downstairs. There is a hot spring pool, which is not too big. There is a beverage machine where you can drink various beverages for free. There are also various pillows and skin care samples to choose from. There is almost nothing wrong with this hotel! Great! Kushiro highly recommends staying here!"

"The hotel side is adequate but simple. The restaurant part should be avoided, food basic cheap and the worse of our two weeks in Hokkaido. Staff was unfriendly to say the least. There is a beer box at the entrance of the restaurant, but that is "outside" . We thought we should take the beer before entering the restaurant, and that got the staff just about scream at us, because beer is sold inside! Breakfast is from 7 to 9 and while we were finishing our breakfast started at 8.30 waitress showed up saying we should be out by 9 as they closed! Very close to Akan crane center but the worse accomodation of hokkaido, to be avoided if you can. All other places we stayed people were most friendly!"

"Service is average as they only speaks Japanese. It's a shared toilet facility which is not so convenience. Have to go all the way down to 1st floor to bath in the onsen room with the mass public make me a little bit embarrasing. All facilities was quite run-down with poor maintenance. Only good things is the breakfast which is quite localised and yummy."
