"It was a great relief to find Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk who thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities. The rooms were clean and tidy, and a full set of yukata was provided. The onsen, being open to the public, was quite busy, but the bathhouse staff were friendly, polite, and constantly tidying up. The breakfast on the 12th floor came highly recommended, offering panoramic views of Kushiro. Unfortunately, a building outside the window partially obstructed the view. Overall, Global View Hotel is a solid choice."

"I chose a place close to Kushiro Airport. The hot spring is a chloride spring, and there are several temperature ranges so I was able to relax in it. I was glad that the front desk told me that I could relax in the hot spring after the day trippers had left. It is a 10-minute drive from Kushiro Airport, so it is convenient for those with morning flights. I chose the breakfast plan, and the breakfast was delicious."

"We stayed here for 2 nights. The room is absolutely gorgeous. We booked a room with In-suite onsen, and it is directly fronting the river. The room is very spacious with all the amenities you need. Modern-Japanese Ryokan styled. Very thoughtful design. There are seating area directly overlooking the river so you can have the picturesque scenery anytime of the day. The breakfast and dinner were sumptuous. At 10.30pm, they serve complimentary ramen too. Popsicles are served when the onsen is open, and in the morning Yogurt drink will be served at the Onsen area. There are 7 Sika Deer freely roaming at the property. They are such a sight to behold. Absolutely gorgeous, highly recommended."

"I've always enjoyed staying at Dormy in! hotels because the rooms are always clean. However, there were just too many guests, and the onsen (hot spring) was constantly crowded, so we only managed to go once during our three-day, two-night stay. We paid extra for the hotel's onsen in Hokkaido, but it was a bit disappointing not to enjoy it. While the breakfast was good, and the complimentary ramen in the evening was delicious, and there were several types of free ice cream, considering the hotel's large capacity and its location not being very close to the station, I probably won't stay at the Kushiro Dormy again."

However, the absolute highlight of this hotel is the hot spring facilities. The onsen—particularly the one located on the 8th floor—is spectacular and I cannot praise it enough. "I stayed for three nights, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to the JR station, and across the street from the bus center, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel breakfast curry is delicious, and they even offer ochazuke (rice with tea) in the evenings, though it was a bit salty. The public bath is quite small with limited space. This hotel is perfect for solo travelers, and you can walk to Nio Bridge to watch a beautiful sunset."
