"We booked standard rooms at $600 AUD per night .. they forgot to mention that these rooms are basement level with a window looking up to the road .. they also forgot to mention that these rooms are next to the staff room, the laundry, the maintenance room so everyday we had bags and bags of laundry and loads of noise by the staff. The smell was outrageous and terrible!!! For $600 per night … not worth the money at all !!"

"Amazing location! Ski-in - Ski-out, and located right in the middle of Hirafu town, which is just minutes walk from many great restaurants, shops, cafes, and bus stops. Very convenient. Our four-bedroom residence was beautiful, spacious and has amazing views. It has everything and more than what we need during our skiing days. It offers extensive bathroom amenities. The kitchen is well-equipped with many different homeware and kitchenware. And they have an in-unit washer and dryer as well. To stay here for a week as a family was so incredibly comfortable and convenient. Also the staff here is very friendly and helpful. Loved every second!"

Intuition

"We booked a stay for a week in Intuition to go skiing in Niseko. We ended up having a room with serious soundproofing issues and we had to ask the staff every day what they are going to do about it and we never got an actual answer. Only after 4 days of constantly complaining about the noise and demanding actions from the staff we got transferred to another hotel and downgraded room. Otherwise the hotel is super nice and the rooms are spacious and modern. Outdoor onsen is also fabulous. The hotel has a shuttle service to King and Ace gongolas, not further, which seemed a little strange. We had one dinner at the hotel restaurant, where a table must be booked 2 days in advance and I must say it’s ovepriced, but so are many other restaurants too in Niseko and we really enjoyed the food. All in all the staff in the hotel seemed a little arrogant towards our problems regarding the soundproofing issue and we didnt feel like they were trying their best to fix it. Also the transfer with all our ski gear to downgraded room was not what we paid for and no refund was ever offered by the hotel."

"I was lucky to be able to book a youth hostel for just over 1,000 yuan in Niseko during the peak season. The hotel is a youth hostel, with a room dedicated to ski equipment. Free pick-up can be booked at Kutchan Station, and there is a fixed free shuttle bus to the ski resort every morning. It is a bit far from the ski resort and the center of Hirafu, and it takes about 15 minutes by car to get there. There is a 711 opposite the hotel, which is quite convenient."

"Parking was free. First, you'll stumble at the entrance. There's a number-entry lock on the entrance facing the road, but the number is unknown, so you actually enter through the back door. The front desk is unmanned. The room key is also number-entry, and although the information is supposed to be sent by email, it seems that it's not in time for last-minute reservations, so you have to call the number listed on the unmanned front desk to get it. The staff were professional. The room had a kettle, but it already had water in it, and the table was dirty, so it wasn't as clean as I'd hoped. The shower room walls weren't exactly clean either. Considering the price, it was about what you'd expect."
