"We stayed here 14/8/23. Car parking available and free to park. Lovely outside enclosed area with chickens and goats in. A beautiful nature reserve surrounding the hotel. We stayed for one night and it was reasonably priced. Room clean and had a good night's sleep. On arrival greeted by friendly staff. Had a couple of drinks sat outside at the tables. They do serve food in the evenings but we didn't eat there. However, breakfast in the morning was really good. Lots of options available hot and cold food. Buffet style and exceptional for the price. I can't remember how much breakfast cost but it was well worth it. We would definitely stay here again and preferred not to be in the centre of Le Mans. Staff were friendly and polite. So pleased we stayed here to break our journey through France . Thank you x"

The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful, assisting foreign tourists with basic needs. The breakfast was quite good, allowing for a leisurely start to the day. "We stayed here on our road trip from UK to Portugal .. fantastic little hotel in the middle of Le Mans. When we arrived we were met by a very helpful lady who gave us our room key and instructed us to park our car in the private garage … this is a must as parking in Le Mans is difficult. After going out for dinner we woke next morning to go for breakfast only to be served by the man who actually built it !. Having had our continental breakfast and a great conversation we packed up and left … excellent!! This is not a big glitzy hotel but very clean and tidy small hotel for a stop over … would definitely stay again … as I said the garage is a must !"

"The Henri 11 "hotel" has more in common with an air b&b than had been expected. There were no staff on the day we arrived. Instructions for entry to the hotel, which should have arrived some days earlier by email, were not received until contact was made via a telephone link. These provided codes for hotel entry and to access the key to your bedroom. Breakfast was available but only if it had been arranged prior to arrival. The bedroom and bathroom were larger than average size; the bed was comfortable. The hotel services stated air-conditioning in each room. There was none in ours, only a fan. This matters in high summer and particularly so during the recent heatwave, which was when we were staying. This was one reason for leaving early. The hotel offers prepayment for a ticket to access a nearby car park. We received no ticket and as yet have not been refunded for our expenditure. To get to the hotel requires tricky navigation as it is located in the centre of major city roadworks, part of which runs right in front of the hotel. The roadworks started at 5:45 am on the Monday morning. To reach the hotel from the car park requires crossing the roadworks, something that would not be possible by wheelchair and very difficult with a walking aid. The hotel is well placed for the old town and has nearby cafés and restaurants. However these benefits are outweighed by the current roadworks disruption and the lack of correct information on services available. I would avoid this hotel until the roadworks are over and customer services are improved."
