"This was our fifth stop on our Guizhou trip, and we were so lucky to have chosen this hotel. We stayed for three nights, and not only were the rooms clean and comfortable with separate wet and dry areas and cozy bedding, but the food was also delicious and plentiful. The lobby even had a freshly ground coffee machine, and a washer and dryer. Beyond these amenities, the warmth and attentiveness of the hotel owners truly stood out. They picked us up and dropped us off every time, helped us plan our itinerary, lent us their car to visit nearby villages, and even let me borrow Miao ethnic clothing for some beautiful photos. After many years of traveling, this is the first time I've found a hotel with such incredible added value. I hope more travelers get the chance to stay here!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. When we checked in they upgraded our room to a business suite. This was so unexpected and we loved it! It was so comfortable and provide the perfect amount of space so when one needed to work in the evening, the other person wasn’t disturbed. The en-suite bathroom was fantastic - the dual vanity was perfect for both of us to get ready at the same time. Also, it had a massive bathtub and separate shower- great for those who might want to unwind after a long day. The bed was very comfortable and it had great sound proofing. The only drawback was that the AC didn’t work well in the suite- even though we tried to lower the temperature, we weren’t able to bring it lower than 25 degrees. As it is summer, being able to lower the AC would have been helpful as it did get a little stuffy in the room at night. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. From recommendations on how to visit several of the villages we were interested in going to, to recommendations for specific Guizhou dishes to try at the night market, they were so kind and pleasant. The day we checked out it was pouring. The staff were kind enough to lend us umbrellas so we could go for a short walk to get coffee before our trip to the train station. The facilities were great and well maintained. A good really gym with lots of equipment / treadmills/ weights etc so you could work out. It closes at 11pm (as does the laundry). They only have 2 washer/ dryer combinations so while laundry is free to do, it could take a while as the shortest wash cycle was approximately 30 min, and then you still had to factor in dry time (as it’s the same machine). The hotel is located in the center area so there are lots of shops, and huge underground mall, night market, parks, cafe and bakery all within walking distance. As it’s centrally located, it’s very easy for didi to find/ schedule pick up. We loved our time in Kaili and our stay at this hotel. We will definitely return for a second visit!"

"The room was incredibly noisy, with a constant pounding sound from the street that lasted until the early hours of the morning, making it impossible to sleep. When I booked, I specifically requested a quiet room, yet I was given a room facing the street. The customer service was also mediocre. We had to pay 40 RMB per day for parking, so for our two-day stay, it cost us 80 RMB. If you're visiting the Miao Village, I recommend going in the afternoon, staying overnight, and watching the sunrise the next day. There's not much else to do there besides taking photos."
