The hotel was near the station, 5 minutes in a taxi. Another 20 mins to get to the big Buddha. We didn't explore Leshan much due to time but there where plenty of places to eat, buy supplies near by. The pool was shut due to water works going on. The gym was quiet with a lot of equipment. Breakfast was fine: pastries, yogurt, cereal, bacon, sausage, eggs - the usual. No towels left in the room but service was friendly and they sorted that quickly. Overall, a decent place to stay.

This hotel is a real gem. We arrived 8:00 in the morning, way way before the official check-in time which was around 15:00. Regardless, the hotel staff greeted us incredibly warmly and offered us a different (and bigger, might I add) room, because the one that was dedicated to us wasnt ready. The room was spacious, very clean and modern. We were highly satisfied. The staff, as mentioned before, was very friendly, very professional and highly forthcoming. Every time one of us passed a staff employee on our way out they kept standing up from their chair and smiling warmly/greeting us. Never seen anything like his before. I cannot emphasise enough how good this hotel is. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommended.

The river view double room cannot accommodate an extra bed, so it is more suitable for couples or traveling alone. The service is good, the proprietress added WeChat and recommended local snacks after check-in. The hotel's location is excellent, with only a 15-minute taxi ride to the Leshan Scenic area and a short three-minute walk to the ancient snack street. The proximity to delicious local snacks and restaurants made dining options easily accessible. Being situated along the riverfront was a real treat, as I could take leisurely strolls by the water in the mornings, with the magnificent Giant Buddha visible in the distance. While it would have been nice if the hotel served breakfast, the abundance of snack options just minutes away compensated for it. I highly recommend Jishe Hotel to anyone visiting Leshan, whether they are friends, couples, solo travelers, or on a business trip. The location is unbeatable, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the hotel's cleanliness sets a new standard.
