The location is what makes you stay here. The hotel is otherwise basic for the price - but it was clean, comfy and came with amazing views (when it briefly cleared) and a very short walk up stairs to see the sunrise/sunset and statue. A table of sunrise and sunset times is posted - arrive early if you want a front row view. Breakfast was basic but sufficient and plentiful. Recommend packing light and only taking up the mountain what you need for your stay as there’s a lot of stairs. While the staff did speak some English (much more than my Chinese) a translation app is highly recommended if you don’t speak the language.

Seeing the beautiful sunrise on the golden top makes everything worth it, and I am so happy that I can spin around in circles. Moreover, during the Spring Festival, after watching the sunrise, there was no traffic jam when packing down the mountain. They were all going up.

Piaoxiang Hotel is on the edge of Leidongping Station, near the car parking spot on the mountain. This seat is the most convenient to take a car in Leidongping. This is the nearest station to Jinding. Get off here and walk up for about half an hour to the Pick-up Hall. You can take the cable car directly to Jinding. The hotels here are all hotels with accommodation, and the same is true of the Piaoxiang Hotel. In addition, the clothes are rented and sold. Friendly owner give advice on where to look out and where is the cable car back down to Leidongping. Free breakfast not much but a good meal with mantou, porridge, boil egg and assorted pickles. Clean room and hot shower instantly. Need to improve on room sound absorption.

I slept for one night and had allergic dermatitis. I slept in another hotel the night before and it was fine.
