The Fox at Willian ★★★★

📍 1870 Willian Rd, Willian, Letchworth

"We were visiting one of our sons who lives nearby. We stayed in room 7 which, although it faced the road, was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable and the linen kept us warm. Breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. Staff were excellent, cheerful, helpful and there when you wanted them but not hovering so close as to be intrusive. If you have reason to be in the Stevenage/Hitchen/Letchworth area, STAY HERE! You won't regret it!"

The Broadway Hotel ★★★
"The location is very good, near the train station, there are many restaurants around. Although the room equipment is a bit old, it is still sufficient. Breakfast choice"

Premier Inn Letchworth Garden City ★★★
"Looks good at first sight. Clean, plenty of room, full bathroom and staff assist with screen check-in. Staff very helpful with local advice, although not always available. Self-help to top-ups of tea, coffee, milk. A few things keep the experience from being above average, however. Bed linen (mattress protector and bottom sheet) much too small for the bed so they dislodge easily during the night. "Hot" water wasn't hot, even when tap left to run for a while. Filled the bath but water still only a bit more than body heat. No safe (I suggest this is necessary nowadays). Air con/heat control instructions bear no resemblance with the actual screen. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment. Would I stay here again? Yes, but only because it's convenient for visiting relatives and is conveniently right in the town centre."
