"The hotel is quite close to the North Railway Station. The receptionist upgraded me to a twin room. The room was very clean, and the twin beds were spacious and bright. The facilities were convenient, and the service was impeccable—enthusiastic, efficient, and responsive to every request. Most importantly, the room rate was affordable, and parking was free. I was very satisfied with my stay. During my trip to Guilin in December, she recommended Elephant Trunk Hill, the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and the Sun and Moon Twin Towers. The most surprising thing was the persimmons in Gongcheng; they were absolutely gorgeous for photos! I'm very grateful to the receptionist; I was very happy with my trip!"

"I happened to visit Guilin during the rainy season, so I barely went out and spent almost the entire day at the hotel. On the day I checked in, I arrived quite early, and since they had rooms available, they allowed me to check in ahead of time, which was very thoughtful. The service and reception throughout my stay felt very natural; they weren't constantly trying to upsell me on things. Since I spent most of my time in the hotel room, I got to explore all its features. Even though my room wasn't on a very high floor, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I *stumbled upon a chicken pot restaurant*, and as soon as the rain let up, I went out to try it. And with that, my trip to Guilin came to an abrupt end."

"The experience exceeded expectations, especially for our mixed-race family of children returning from abroad to explore our roots. There were so many invaluable experiences; two days simply weren't enough. The best aspects included: the idyllic, self-sufficient lifestyle of ancient China, with food and lodging provided entirely by ourselves – a truly authentic and natural experience; the excellent butler service, with top-notch responsiveness and attitude, making village life incredibly convenient; and the villagers being genuine farmers who truly loved children, providing them with various experiences – a far cry from the overly commercialized so-called experiences in China. However, we did have two minor regrets, which we've already discussed with the butler, hoping for improvements in the future. First, litter was still everywhere; plastic bags and mineral water bottles littered the picturesque streams, significantly detracting from the authentic, natural feel. We even wanted to help clean up the trash. Second, we found a centipede the length of a finger in the bathroom on the first night. While insects are unavoidable in damp locations and the butler responded immediately, for a tourist attraction frequently hosting children, such venomous insects should be completely eliminated to ensure safety. None of the above affects our amazing experience, and we would recommend it to all our friends, especially those overseas."

"The price was inflated, doubling during the National Day holiday. The location is some distance from the North Railway Station, making it difficult to hail a taxi. While advertised as a four-star hotel, the facilities were rather basic, lacking essential four-star amenities like robots. Breakfast was perfunctory, costing 38 yuan per person with a limited selection and no variety of dishes. There was no gym, and the swimming pool had time restrictions. Service was attentive and able to resolve issues; improvements to basic amenities and breakfast could be enhanced in the future."

"The front desk staff were proactive and welcoming, upgrading my room according to my needs. Check-in was completed quickly, and they even gave me complimentary fruit on my birthday. There are also snack shops nearby, making it easy to order takeout. The hotel also has a laundry room and gym, so clothes washed that day can be worn that day, which is very convenient for someone like me who travels frequently for work. This will be my first choice for my next business trip."

"The guesthouse is located next to Daxu Ancient Town, just a two- or three-minute walk from the town and pier. You can see ancient buildings from the windows; the Li River flows by, and the decor is antique and elegant. The owner is warm and welcoming, making it highly recommended. However, the lively chatter of geese and roosters behind the guesthouse, along with the morning crowing of a rooster, adds a unique touch. The last two pictures show the specialty tofu that the owner of the small tavern opposite the guesthouse highly recommends."
