A lady with staff number 11 was very helpful when I asked her for information about a booking. She helped me with it and since there was a problem with my phone she used hers. This exceptional service deserves more than a 5/5. Thank you so much again! Given that I am learning Chinese, I also appreciate that she did the effort to communicate with me in Chinese. Her English was much better than my Chinese so it was very polite of her to bear with me and shows a high degree of professionalism. This made a very good impression of the hotel. The breakfast was nice, I appreciated that local specialties were offered. The setting is also pleasant with beautiful views on the river. Finally, the room was clean and comfortable (and it was effectively smoke-free!), the hotel represents a nice mixture of modern and traditional Chinese features. Overall, I definitely recommend this place, note that it is conveniently located on the way to the shipping wharfs with ferries to Yangshuo. Just one tip: don't advertise the room I had as ”mountain view” as all I could see were appartment buildings, for me it was no big deal (especially given the high price-quality ratio) but it might generate false expectations.

Staying at this B&B is truly an unforgettable experience. The interior design was full of character and I was impressed by the warmth and expertise of our host, who gave us lots of local tips and always made sure we were comfortable. I have never experienced such professional service anywhere else. From the beginning of the reservation, everything was arranged in an orderly manner, and every little detail here made people feel warm and caring. It is highly recommended to travelers who pursue quality. I heard that the owner is planning to renovate the back garden recently and is looking forward to what it will look like in the future. The back garden is very picturesque, and you can feel the charm of the countryside. The landlady is also very enthusiastic and kind. Afternoon tea was arranged for us as soon as we arrived. They prepared home-grown mangosteen soaked in mint leaves for us, which was fragrant and sweet. There were also watermelons and melon seeds. It was really fun to sit and chat together. The hotel is near the river, which is the kind of close distance that ”the river is in front of the house” when you were a child. For children growing up in the city, this distance is a surprise in itself. The lind paths on the riverside have special riding settings, and the trees on both sides of the road are lush and changing scenery. Initially, it was a towering ancient tree and lush green bamboo. Turning the corner is the farmland moors, melons and fruits are fragrant. Various fruits and vegetables with the original ecological aroma bring visual and sensory impact to the children in the city. The children saw so many fruits and vegetables for the first time. When I went there, it was just the rainy season, the wet empty and the deep green eyes made people feel like they were in a fantasy. The farm kitchen not far from the hotel is fresh and tasteful. The hotel is elegantly decorated and the breakfast is rich and delicious. In fact, if you want to come, a person who wants to be in a daze can also live for some days.

The room is quite big and clean. It is new after all. However, I feel that the name does not match the reality. It is clearly a B&B but it must be called a hotel. I will never come back to Yangshuo, Guilin. The scenery is still good, but the tourism bureau should manage it better. Everything is dirty and messy, and prices have been increased randomly.

Dong Li Gu Cun was the most wonderful experience we had in China, with comfortable rooms and delicious meals. The staff is highly receptive and warm, with very good tips for the trip, and attention to details. We felt in heaven, in a awesome scenic area, with the true Chinese spirit. There are many options of activities throughout the village, from craftsmanship of chopsticks, porcelain, preparation of traditional food and beverages and much more. There are also many activities for children. Special thanks to Xia, Kay and Chen, for the cultural immersion and special attention, since we were the sole foreigners in the village. We highly recommend the Li River Craftsmen in the Spring Festival if you want to have a traditional experience, and we regret to spend only 4 days there, because we would like to stay at least a whole week. We intend to return in the near future.

Our stay at Fusheng Banri was short but sweet- wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel is located in a small village in the idyllic Guilin countryside, a short drive from the 3 star ferry pier. Our room was spacious, nicely furnished and the view over fields and mountains was gorgeous! Very romantic~ Also our hosts were very accommodating, driving us to the ferry pier in the morning and even waiting up until 2am when my plane was delayed, to make sure I got in okay! We had a yummy breakfast of Guilin mifen (noodles) and got a packed lunch for the ferry ride. Thanks so much for your hospitality! Looking forward to coming back one day~

Watermark Corridor Hotel is located next to Bailuzhou on the Li River. It is in a villa area with a quiet environment and strong privacy. You can stay in Beidao Bookstore, the core building of the hotel. The room is spacious, very well designed and has a large terrace. The facilities are complete and hygienic, and the service is excellent. It also provides afternoon tea, breakfast delivered to the room, and the cormorant feeding program is very popular. The hotel has a strong cultural atmosphere. There is a Watermark Academy where you can read and drink coffee, as well as a photography exhibition and a mineral exhibition. It can be seen that the hotel is very attentive. I participated in the water kayaking activity in the hotel and loved it. The housekeeper Beibei was very enthusiastic, introduced everyone one by one, answered all our questions, and even drove us to the pier for entertainment. I really appreciate her. Andy from the catering department even made coffee for us to taste. Thank you as well. Will definitely come again if I have the opportunity in the future.
