"Having stayed at various Jia Yi hotels, this one is truly disappointing! First, a 100 RMB deposit is required upon entry, which is acceptable. Second, the breakfast restaurant has no air conditioning, especially in early August (***** calendar), when the temperature reached a high of 30 degrees Celsius. While it might be cooler in the morning, wouldn't it be hot to eat? Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00 AM, but by 7:10 AM, the dishes weren't all served; they were still cooking. This is also acceptable. What's unacceptable is that the eggs were not fresh—two in a row were stale, and the kitchen staff didn't rinse them with cold water; they were still very hot to the touch. I guess if the eggs weren't fresh, there would be no need to rinse them. Also, the windows have very poor sound insulation. A word of caution: don't eat the fried eggs; they have some black spots that I mistook for condiments…"
