"This was my third time staying here, and I’m absolutely impressed! The staff provided excellent service, and they even offer a shuttle bus service into town, That’s was so good. The swimming pool is huge and very photogenic. My only complaint is that smoking is allowed at the counter bar, so I could smell cigarette smoke while swimming. Despite that, they beautifully decorated our room for my anniversary with my boyfriend, which was so sweet! Whenever I visit Luang Prabang again, I will definitely stay here. ♥️"

Kraliyet Sarayı, Phousi Dağı ve sabah pazarı sadece 3 dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde. Hatta erken kalkmak zorunda kalmadan otelin hemen dışındaki sabah sadaka verme törenini bile izleyebiliyoruz. Personelin sıcak ve düşünceli hizmetini çok övmeliyiz. Resepsiyon ve barda çalışan bayan eskiden hostesmiş, çok güzel ve mükemmel bir hizmet verdi. Bavullarımız konusunda bize nazikçe yardımcı oldu ve şelaleye taksi çağırdı. Odaları ve banyoları temizleyen temizlikçi Ni Teyze çok dikkatli ve çalışkan, odaları tertemiz tutuyor. Her iki personel de olağanüstü ve büyük takdiri hak ediyor. Umarım sahibi onlara zam yapmayı düşünür! Otelde kahvaltıda taze kahve ve ekmek servis ediliyor ve yakınlarda lezzetli Lanzhou eriştesi de var. Burası, fotoğraf çekmek için mükemmel, yüzyıllık bir Fransız sömürge villası. Resepsiyonda iletişim kolay ve rahat. Şehir merkezindeki bu harika konumuyla fiyatı da çok uygun. Luang Prabang'da seyahat ederken burada kalmak kesinlikle en iyi seçim!"

"Overall, it was okay. The air conditioning had a moldy smell and probably needs cleaning. During my stay, there were three short water outages and three short power outages, which the hotel needs to address. The service was very good, and while the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was sufficient. It's great value for money. The back gate leads directly up Mount Phousi, though it's a bit eerie, and you still need to buy a ticket to enter the temple. Going down the back gate leads to the night market, but the mountain path is difficult. Overall, it's decent, but it doesn't meet luxury standards, to be honest. The hotel itself is on the hillside of Mount Phousi, boasting a scenic view. I recommend trimming the trees in front of the lobby and restaurant areas below, as you could see the Mekong River and the entire town of Luang Prabang, but they are currently blocked, which is a pity."

"The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Yangren Street, and the almsgiving route passes directly by the hotel entrance. The hotel's French colonial architecture is also stunning, and there's a magnificent towering tree inside that's truly beautiful! Every time we entered or left, the front desk staff would greet us warmly, open the door, and even remember our room number – very well-trained. The breakfast was exquisite too, semi-buffet with excellent made-to-order dishes and beautifully presented. The coffee, in particular, easily outshines all the coffee shops on Yangren Street."

"I don't understand why the rating is so low??? Having traveled to many countries and stayed in hotels of all levels, only a few have left a lasting impression, but this one is definitely one of them. In a time when everyone is chasing after trendy B&Bs, Satri House is a rare gem. Every step reveals a new scene, each story unfolding in its own way. The owner has impeccable taste and unique craftsmanship; many small details are unforgettable and bring a smile to your face. Many Chinese people might not be used to the black and white photos here, but even someone like me, with a sensitive nature, felt at peace here. "Nothing exists, so where does the dust settle?" Moreover, these past few days, with the rain, hiding in the small pavilion in the courtyard, letting the fan gently turn, I felt, for a moment, that the world consisted only of myself. The wooden floors in the room felt wonderfully textured underfoot, which suddenly reminded me of a novel by Marguerite Duras. The hotel has a new manager this year, an Australian, who is very nice; the receptionist, despite her limited English, patiently explained car prices to me, and the restaurant staff asked me in broken Chinese after breakfast if I enjoyed it. Everything was so simple and charming. It felt more than just staying in a hotel; it was a wonderful window into understanding Lao culture. Moreover, the hotel itself was incredibly photogenic, offering both sunshine and rainy charm."
