"Avoid this place like the plaque . The Chinese owners were very hostile and ******. They came for airport pickup after 2 hours and they refused airport drop off saying they don’t provide it even though it’s listed on their bookings as free. I highly do not recommend it. I booked an executive queen room and they gave us twin/ single beds and didn’t want to change the room. I paid for the reservation a day before and it was accepted but there were problems during check in because they were saying the room hadn’t been paid for. 0/10 do not recommend at all!"

"Solid 4-star stay at Holiday Inn Lusaka! Clean, comfy rooms and a nice outdoor pool to chill after a long day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet had good variety. Location is convenient near the airport and some shopping spots. Not super fancy but definitely reliable and great value. Perfect for a business trip or a short layover. Would stay again!"

"Amenities: No air conditioning, no hair dryer, no toothbrush or toothpaste, no slippers. It's an apartment, and there are two keys: one for the building and one for the room. The room is small. Cleanliness: Okay, probably not occupied. Area: Not many shops nearby, but close to Zambezi Trade Center and a Chinese supermarket. Service: Not much."

"Stayed here twice on a recent trip through Lusaka. Very friendly hotel, well kept with lovely terrace, water pond and amazing yellow weaver birds. Everywhere we went people recommended this hotel. Service was good (Matthews gets a special shout out for excellent service), lovely breakfast option and overall good evening meals. Sometimes the meat joints were a bit tough but the chicken curry, burger and the vegetarian pizza were all lovely. The hotel also introduced us to a wonderful driver, Anthony Sakala, who drove us for the whole week. Careful, courteous and helpful he comes highly recommended - DM or ask a question if you want his What’s App number."

"My husband and I had a 3 night stay at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. After a lukewarm reception we were escorted to our clean, modern and spacious room with good air-con. The property has a wonderful spa, beautiful ( but cold) swimming pool with comfortable chaise lounges and food/bar service. We were really impressed by the menu, service and ambiance of the Brewery restaurant. The golf course restaurant is not part of the hotel but is easily accessible. They have a very varied menu and very good pizza. All in all staff were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to stay at this hotel again given the opportunity to pass thru Lusaka."

"The room is big; the AC didn’t work; the fan made too much noise; the water pump was roaring through night so we could not sleep. Lot of mosquitoes in the room and we got many bites over faces, hands and legs. WiFi didn’t work inside the room. We had to sit outside to use it. Breakfast was the worst one(in the picture below) a plate with 2 fried eggs and 4 toasties for 2 people and that we had for each morning (4 days) there, also a jug of hot water and 2 tea bags. I don’t know how they can treat their customers like that. Overall, unpleasant stay at this place and for sure, we don’t want anyone to have bad experience on holiday."

"Very good hotel and great service. Clean and efficient. Only low point is the pool which is small and not heated. Very well located.with a mall attached and also a bigger one 100m away. Much much better than nearby radisson blu which is a scam!!!!!"
