"This booking was a huge success! Before I booked, I tentatively asked Doubao (the AI assistant) for recommendations, and they suggested this place. It definitely didn't disappoint. It's super close to the sightseeing bus stop, and just a two-minute walk from the hotel puts you right on a street with lots of food options. The best part is that 1934 (the hotel name?) isn't directly on the main street, which was perfect for someone like me who likes peace and quiet. The hot water in the room was consistently good, and it was clean. There's also a large viewing platform right outside the hotel, which is a great spot to relax with a cup of tea after a long day of exploring."

"This trip to Lushan was a last-minute decision, and the itinerary was rather rushed, but the guesthouse we stayed at made the whole trip full of surprises. The guesthouse was incredibly thoughtful; they arranged for a driver to wait for us at the cable car station and help us take our luggage back to the hotel so we could continue our exploration. 🙏 It rained all day on the first day, and the mountain was shrouded in mist. We mostly visited indoor attractions, with my favorite being Meilu Guesthouse. Because we ate dinner late and there was no public transportation back to the hotel, the guesthouse again arranged for a driver to pick us up. Shortly after arriving at the guesthouse, it started snowing heavily – so lucky! 👍 The next morning, I woke up early, drew back the curtains, and went to the balcony to see the whole world blanketed in white. The sun was just rising over the mountains, illuminating this fairytale world. I was so excited! And to make matters worse, it was Christmas Day – what a timely and delightful gift! It was dark when we arrived at night, but now I realized how great the hotel's location was – a panoramic view of the sunrise and sea of clouds! For breakfast, we had local specialties: rice noodles, shumai, and steamed buns – and we finished them all! The next day was full of amazing surprises; we leisurely enjoyed ourselves in this fairytale world! Finally, a huge thank you to this thoughtful guesthouse; we'll definitely come back again, and we look forward to seeing you next time!"

I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit in the future."
Shuguang Boyue Homestay (Lushan Guling Street)
"It was my first time in Lushan, and after comparing many hotels, I chose the Boyue. Arriving early in the morning, my room wasn't ready yet, so I contacted the front desk to take my luggage from the cable car station back to the hotel so I could head straight to the scenic spots with my kids. I was delighted to receive an upgrade and a higher floor. The room was clean, and the shower was powerful and warm, which was a great relief from the fatigue of the hike. I skipped breakfast the next day because I was so tired, so I'm not sure how it was. Upon check-out, the front desk lady, Ms. Chen, arranged a car to take us to the cable car entrance, gave us a few extra bottles of mineral water, and a gift. The service was truly thoughtful and I'm very grateful. Lushan is worth visiting more often, and I'd love to stay here again. A few things that could be improved: the bathroom drain had a strong odor, and the shower head was a bit clogged."

"Our whole family came to Mount Lu for a trip, and we were really lucky to have chosen Luqin Villa. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; when we checked in, they proactively helped us plan our sightseeing route, clearly explaining where to catch buses and which nearby attractions to visit. The room was spacious, and the floors and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The beds were just right – not too soft, not too hard – ensuring the elders slept soundly without back pain. The villa's small courtyard is surrounded by lush greenery, and the air is fresh. After dinner, we enjoyed leisurely strolls with the kids and seniors, clearing our minds. The breakfast selection was very thoughtful, with soft porridge, pastries, and homemade side dishes readily available. If we needed any toiletries, we just contacted the staff, and they were delivered very quickly. Being close to the scenic area meant we didn't have to bother with long commutes when going out to explore. The entire family had a comfortable stay. This is definitely our top choice for families visiting Mount Lu."

"Some beautiful sights can only be seen with the eyes, not captured in photos. Zilu Hotel gave me many surprises! I love the location, a commanding height at Lushan's Yangtianping, with unparalleled views! This sense of close proximity to nature is a luxury you simply can't experience in city hotels. The hot springs were wonderful. At night, soaking in the 40-degree springs, feeling the mountain breeze, was a relaxing experience. The hotel was very considerate: hot ginger tea, non-slip slippers, and waiters always provided bath towels by the pool. The dining options also exceeded my expectations. I expected limited options at the top of the mountain, but the local rice noodles and freshly ground soy milk for breakfast were authentic. For dinner, I ordered the stone chicken (a Lushan specialty frog), and the butler went out of his way to inquire about my preferences. I highly recommend the "privately prepared beef ribs." The hotel is also very family-friendly and attentive. With my five-year-old, the hotel had already placed building blocks and picture books in the children's area, and even provided a complimentary cartoon toiletry bag. The children's meals were nutritious (less salt and oil), and they even provided children's tableware—a level of detail rarely seen in resort hotels. The only minor drawback is that the road up the mountain has a steep curve, so a four-wheel drive is recommended for self-driving (the hotel can arrange transfers, but reservations are required). However, this also helps to screen out noisy tourists, preserving the hotel's elegance and privacy."
Renjoy Courtyard Hotel Jiujiang Lushan
"The environment is pretty good! I originally booked a comfort room without a balcony, but later upgraded to a suite, which I was very happy with. We traveled with our child to see the Donglin Buddha and climb Mount Lu. The hotel's location is right across from the scenic area, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, which was very convenient. Overall, a great experience, highly recommended!"

"The service was absolutely terrible. Breakfast ends at 9:30 AM. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:29 AM, right on time, and they immediately said they were sold out. I pointed out that breakfast ended at 9:30, and I explained that I had paid for the breakfast voucher. Why couldn't I eat there? It wasn't even time yet. A short while later, they told me it was already 9:30. I was speechless. I've never encountered anything like this before. In other words, I arrived right on time. I can accept that they'll serve whatever they have, but they can't just tell me it's sold out before the designated time, and then immediately say it's time. Isn't this just bullying?"

"It's pretty good. You can take a hot spring bath in the room. The room includes a hot spring ticket for two people. I went to see it and went back to the room. Because it was close to the Mid-Autumn Festival, there were too many people bathing. Every pool was occupied. Fish therapy was charged separately. Everything else was good. The restaurant consumption was also very affordable!"

"We brought our child to Lushan and were attracted by the environment. The accommodation was also very nice and comfortable. It was very close to Meilu Hotel and the bus stop. The service was excellent. They could pick us up from the bus stop and take us back to the hotel. We left our luggage at the hotel the next day and they even delivered it to the transfer point in the afternoon. They were very thoughtful."

"This was my first trip to Lushan Scenic Area, and my friend and I stayed at this villa hotel. It's nestled among the villas in the scenic area, offering beautiful views. Getting around is easy thanks to the shuttle bus, which stops directly across the street. The owner was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service, including complimentary snacks and drinks, and a lot of helpful travel information (like scenic brochures). After the shuttle bus stopped running for the evening, the owner even arranged for a driver to pick us up and take us back to the hotel after dinner. The hotel facilities are excellent and elegantly designed. It's very quiet at night, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing."
JI Hotel (Lushan Xiufeng Scenic Area Tongluowan Plaza Branch)
"Although the hotel and bus station are in the same building, the hotel itself is clean, tidy, and quiet. The receptionist was very attentive, and the room she gave me basically met my requirements when I booked. The room was comfortable, and the lighting was well-designed. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, was clean and hygienic, and the service was excellent. There is a shopping center with restaurants about 900 meters from the hotel. It's not far from Luoxingdun, about a 20-minute drive."

""Living amidst human habitation, yet free from the noise of carriages and horses." This was my first impression of the hotel—quiet and tranquil. This environment perfectly aligned with our family's travel philosophy: sleeping in until we naturally wake up, avoiding intensive walking and sightseeing. It was our first time visiting Lushan, and we were completely unfamiliar with the scenic area. We originally planned to park at the North Gate and head up the mountain, but thankfully, after contacting the owner, we discovered that we could drive directly to the hotel. This was incredibly convenient for those who had already traveled a long way and were about to take a bus up the mountain. (Actually, we only found out the next day on the mountain that it was a 50-minute bus ride to the first stop, Xiaotianchi, with over a hundred winding roads—we couldn't handle that! We were so glad the hotel was at the foot of the mountain.) The hotel is located inside the Lushan East Gate Visitor Center, within the San Die Quan Scenic Area. Nestled at the foot of the Five Old Peaks, surrounded by mountains, it's incredibly peaceful. The courtyard is large and offers a lot of activities, including artificial hills, fountains, ponds, lawns, terraces, viewing platforms, and panoramic rooftop terraces—perfect for children's play. Sitting by the small pond in the backyard, I had a panoramic view of the Five Old Men Peaks. During my three-day trip to Lushan, I spent most of my time enjoying the scenery from the hotel, which seemed to make the trip even better. The room was very spacious, and the most pleasant surprise was the two huge floor-to-ceiling windows and a large balcony. From the outside, I observed that the other rooms also had their own unique layouts. As for dining, the breakfast was quite good, but lunch and dinner required some errands, unless you're spending the day in the scenic area. We drove to town to get two meals, which only took less than ten minutes; there are many restaurants near the East Gate. However, if you want to try more food, you can go to Lushan city center. It's only a 20-minute drive from the hotel to the city center. We went to a highly recommended restaurant, Lao Jiu Guotie (Old Nine Potstickers), which was listed on the best food list. The barbecue and specialty dishes were delicious, and they close before 9 pm, so go early. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the North Gate. When we arrived at noon on our second day, the parking lot was full, but if you walk back a little, you'll find a temporary parking lot made from an abandoned airport, which is very convenient and worth considering. During the three-day May Day holiday, the traffic on the entire mountain road was very light, making it convenient to get from the hotel to any direction. Before leaving, we even had a meal in Lushan city, as it's easier to get back to Wuhan via the highway from there. On Lushan, excluding travel time, we only spent about three hours exploring, visiting the Lushan Conference Site and the waterfall. If you want to see more, go up and down early, as waiting in line for the bus can be quite time-consuming. We spent five hours on the mountain, visited Guanyin Bridge, and Lushan city – we were a bit spontaneous. Traveling is essentially about experiencing life in a different place, and since it's about living, comfort is paramount. That's why I'm always careful when choosing hotels, comparing hotel photos with user photos to avoid being ripped off. This time, we didn't make a mistake; the Ancient Luxury Secret Realm truly lived up to its name. The interior design, with its dark wood and white stone, combines ancient charm with understated luxury – simple yet sophisticated. The hotel's facade is quite large, providing excellent natural light and expansive views, with no other modern buildings obstructing the view from its elevated position. In the evening, you can truly experience the tranquility of "sitting facing the moon over the eastern mountains, its gentle shadow falling into my arms." For travelers seeking leisure, peace, and serenity, this is a highly recommended experience!"
Lushan Zuishi Hot Spring Resort Hotel
"Stayed here in end Oct. While reception was friendly, everything else did not meet expectations and match the price. Bed was hard and pillows were flat, thus uncomfortable for sleep. Breakfast spread was limited, taste was bad and food was cold except for hard boiled eggs and soup noodles - totally not befitting a hotel of this scale. We only used the bath tub in the room (water from hot spring too) instead of using the hotel hot spring facilities because we saw paper cups littered around some of the pools and questioned the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities. You can ask reception for a disposable tub cover. It was also difficult to get a private hire vehicle at this hotel and we had to pay a higher price to get one. Overall poor value for the price we paid."
