"The location of this venue is it's best asset. The photos are generous in terms of impression, and up close, it's very tired in so many ways (as other reviewers have pointed out). The proprietress was polite and helpful, and helped us arrange a taxi for an early-morning departure (2 miles/£15 to Luton Airport). There's also nearby secure parking which is far cheaper than the airport, so that worked well. Our room was very basic, with beds and linen that were so old I'd be embarrassed to give them to charity. A twin room with one bed that had no bedside table or lamp? Let alone somewhere convenient for a phone charger! Fairly clean though... The food in the restaurant was also basic, but reasonably well presented. All in all, the convenience of this venue is great, but with so many downsides, we'll probably do a Premier Inn/Travelodge next time"

"Avoid like the plague!! The room itself looked the like photos. But nothing worked in the room including the shower. The location was so rough and we got absolutely no sleep with all the parties/bars/ boy racer tracks going on outside the room! We went for dinner as the restaurant doesn’t serve anything Apart from coffee and oh my word rough area doesn’t even come close!! If your a woman on your own or two women together do not go!"

"We booked a twin bed room/chalet called "Ruby" when we arrived we were informed that this had been changed to another room with a double bed. We found the room cold, musky smelling, dirty and kitted out with worn our furniture. Advertised with "climate-control" in fact was an electric radiator that wasn't working. We left the place after 15 minutes and didn't stay the night. If you do stay be careful trying to get out of the narrow lane where the property is situated, it comes onto the A6 Bedford road which is very busy, you'll need to have you wits about you."
