"Arrived a little late but everything was prepared waiting for us. The room was small but well-equipped and clean. The bar staff in the evening were good but closed very much at 11. Breakfast was freshly prepared and hot. The hotel is right in the centre of town so a great base for a wander around."

"Although a quaint, lovely building, the food was extremely disappointing. My burger was extremely undercooked and so I sent it back and then quickly decided I actually didn’t want another one as was so put off so just ate the fries and salad off plate. My partner was able to order steak and chips from evening menu which we thought was accommodating but it literally was just steak and chips. We complained about the price of this once we received the bill - £30 for such a plain meal! The reply was - “ that’s standard”. Would not dine here again."
