"Hotel was beautifully furnished impeccable clean. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were very quiet. We were in Room 3 away from the road which was lovely. Only criticism is although a very generous continental breakfast, for this standard of hotel you would expect the cooked option to be included in the rate. We also felt the hotel lacked a cosy sofa area to sit and enjoy a drink. In the summer outside is available but when it’s cold there needs to be somewhere inside rather than amongst people dining in the restaurant."

"I am incredibly disappointed with my recent stay here. The room itself was just "okay," but it was severely let down by poor maintenance and lack of cleanliness. • Room & Amenities: There was no AC, and to make matters worse, the towels were stained, the shower was literally falling off the wall, and the curtains were hanging half down-with one window left completely bare without a curtain. • Disturbances: I barely slept due to the constant, loud sound of running water throughout the night. • Service & Parking: The parking situation is awful —the spaces are incredibly tight with barely any room to maneuver. Furthermore, the reception was completely unmanned during the hours it was advertised to be open. When someone finally showed up, they just seemed like regular staff rather than proper reception management. For the price paid, the lack of basic upkeep and customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here."

"We recently enjoyed an unparalleled dinner for two at Hurley House Hotel, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Known for its fine Japanese-inspired cuisine, the restaurant exceeded every expectation. We ordered the Togarashi Teriyaki Steak and the Saikyo Yaki Black Cod—both dishes gave new meaning to steak and fish. The flavours were exquisite, the presentation elegant, and the craftsmanship behind each plate truly showcased gourmet excellence. The pre-Christmas atmosphere added a warm, festive charm to the evening, making the experience even more memorable. Service was superb, with impeccable attention to detail. Luca provided outstanding hospitality throughout the night, and Mia was a wonderful waitress—attentive, friendly, and professional. Well done to the team at Hurley House Hotel. Highly recommended. "Pros Nice location across from the River Thames, Family size room on 3rd floor very spacious, with comfy beds and nicely refurbished Ample free parking Friendly staff Bar area really nice and the terrace was lovely to sit out for evening drinks and also breakfast Cons No TV as advertised Lighting in room very bright, could do with softer lighting or addition of lamps, particularly if you have young kids. We ended up using our phone torches to slightly light up the room so as not to wake our daughter Windows in room very dirty, which was a shame as there was a nice view overlooking the Thames Bathroom attracted so many flies when the light was on and window open Sewerage smell in bathroom that seemed to appear in the night Shower looked new and as though it would be really good, but the pressure was quite poor. Despite the cons we thought the hotel was nice, superb location, nice art decor and the breakfast was ok."

"The first room we were given which was easy access for disability was awful and smelt terrible We had to pay extra to get a better room on the 5 floor. It smelt better but obviously not cleaned to a good standard. Tea tray had not seen a clean for sometime, coffee machine too was dirty skirting boards had not been touched for a while. Bed was comfortable but the sheets were too small for the bed. One bath towel each but only one hand towel no bath mate. Breakfast was fine but if you came down after the workers it took ages to replenish the hot food. Evening meal was cooked while you wait and was good. The reception staff were very good, but had many hats to wear ie. Reception, bar, cook and serving which I hasten to say they done very well."

"Very poor standard , and noisy at night . Parking crampt ,greeting not very welcoming, especially from owner. Bathroom no plug for hand basin , room very warn ,needs upgrading, no aircon ,but did loan us a fan on request. Smell from kitchen was of old cooking grease , would not recommend or stay again, the Indian restaurant on site probably the best part of hotel, and main focus, l think , didn't eat there though."
