There is a big supermarket at the north exit of the station for dinner. I also bought some beer and snacks by the way, which is very convenient. It is OK as a transfer station to Amanohashidate the next day."

"I stayed here after arriving solo on the New Japan Sea Ferry from Otaru. This was my second time in Maizuru, and I had the impression that the city was a little dark, so I was a little confused, but I finally arrived at the Maizuru Grand Hotel in Nishi-Maizuru. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean, and there was a large public bath, so I was able to rest comfortably. I was surprised when I woke up in the morning to see that the area in front of Nishi-Maizuru Station had also been cleaned up. I have stayed at the Grand Hotel before, and it has been cleaned up. Today, I called to request proof of accommodation, and thank you for your kind assistance. I plan to stay with you again next time."
