"Bu, kaldığım en kötü oteldi. Saat 17:00'de giriş yaptım ve odalar hazır değildi. Odalar için 45 dakika daha beklemek zorunda kaldık. Giriş saatimizin 14:00 veya en geç 15:00 olması gerekmiyor muydu? Otel çok çok eski. Halılar ve dolaplar çok yıpranmış durumda. Bir daha asla o otele geri dönmem."

"The booking process was easy, and the price was very reasonable, especially on weekdays. The host was very helpful and attentive. I was quite busy before check-in, but they kept me updated through text and provided clear instructions with a video guide, so the whole process was very easy to follow. Parking was easy to find and conveniently located near the lift. The lift was also fast, and we had no issues using it during our stay. The room was comfortable overall. One of the mattresses was slightly sunken in the middle, but the host provided plenty of extra pillows. The air conditioning worked very well and was very cold ,we did not even need to switch it on throughout the night. The shower heater worked perfectly, and the water pressure was strong too. The kitchen facilities were very useful, especially for families with a baby. The refrigerator was very cold, and ice cubes were also provided. There was also a clean microwave, cooker and water dispenser, which made it very convenient for preparing warm water for my baby's milk. There is also a washing machine, and detergent is provided. The swimming pool operates from 8.00 AM to 10.00 PM. We planned to use it, but because of the haze and my son not feeling well, we did not manage to try it. However, it looked very nice from above. Just remember to wear proper swimming attire, as T-shirts are not allowed in the pool. For early sleepers or those who prefer a quieter environment, choosing a higher floor may be more suitable, as some activity from the pool area can still be heard in the evening (after 9pm). Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay with good facilities, easy parking and a very helpful host. Definitely good value for money. We would consider staying here again. Thanks!"

"The room was quite spacious and clean, with a window offering a river view. The hotel has a Peranakan style, and the à la carte breakfast, especially the Malacca curry noodles, had perfectly balanced spice flavors. It's within walking distance of Jonker Street, but we took a taxi because of the hot weather."

"I booked a 1-night stay in their Lux King Ocean Room at The Lisbon Melaka as I read that it’s a new international hotel that opened a year ago. The room feels very cozy when I entered. The fixtures were still new and the beds were comfortable. It’s come with a smart TV which is a plus point in this day and age. Though it will be better if the TV is slightly bigger as it’s only 32”. The balcony was dismal and the ocean wasn’t that therapeutic and was partially blocked. The breakfast buffet was a letdown as well. There wasn’t much options for selections though the hotel was proclaimed as a 5 star luxury hotel. For the room rate at about RM$337 on a weekday, it’s definitely on a higher side. I think likely also due to low occupancy. Throughout my stay, the hotel was fairly empty and not many rooms were occupied. The courtyard area was really nice, which elevates the resort feel. The pool and gym nearby was really small. So I did not use the facilities. The spa room wasn’t tenanted out too. There was no lift as well, definitely not user friendly for the elderly. Staff Shamirul and other guest relations personnel were polite too. Same applies to the security which offers good service. Will I return, it’s very unlikely."
