"Deceiving. Poor customer service. Room not clean, no A/C , old furniture. When booking no option given including or excluding air conditioning. When we enquired, reception mentioned it is a premium option and refused to change to another room with a/c even we were ok to pay extra. Unprofessional owner forced us to leave and charged us an extra night . Really terrible experience. I stayed in alot of places in Australia and overseas and never experienced poor customer service like this before."

"We had a fantastic two-day stay at Elouera Towers. The location is excellent—right across from the beach and within easy walking distance to cafes, shops, and everything you need for a relaxing break. The ocean views from the apartment were stunning, making it a great spot to unwind. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities, including the pool and spa, were a nice bonus. Overall, a great place to stay for a short getaway, and we’d definitely return!"

"The hotel had a kitchen, making it a great choice for families. However, we had trouble figuring out how to use the kitchen and dishwasher, which took up a lot of time. It would be helpful to have instructions on how to use them. We had a wonderful time."

"Excellent location with nice restaurants and coffee shops. Lovely view. We booked a one bedroom apartment on the pool level but we had a key left to check in in wrong apartment and wrong level with no internet connection as it was supposed to be provided."

Aqua Vista Resort

"The view from,our 7th floor apartment was WOW!! When we walked it in was all we saw! The apartment was a centre one, 2.5bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Quite modern fit out with nice finishing. Very comfortable and could easily stay a few weeks or more. Very convenient location for the beach, Maroochydore Surf Club and some awesome cafes as well as Cotton Tree shops. There were a few little niggles; the lounge tv was basic and we gave up using it (although we worked out the twin room tv was a lot newer and much better), the wifi was patchy and slow so we used hotspot on our phones, no bbq at the apartment (but was a communal one downstairs)"

"We had a great Easter get away at the Beach tower. With ocean view, pool, sauna and the little play area for the kids was pretty handy. So close to everything such as restaurants, shops and takeaways and a little across to just take a stroll on the beach, swim, surf or a picnic was ideal."

On the River Apartments

"Lovely spacious apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen, plenty of seating outside with views of the river, great pool and jetty. Parking underneath with extra parking available outside. It was just perfect for our needs. Would definitely highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again!"

The Beach Houses Maroochydore

"Will never be coming back.. we had a lot of rude encounters with the hotel manager. She certainly liked to intimidate us into taking our deposit. We were intimidated with smoking on the premises which wasn’t us, a bike that was left near the pool and the driveway/side of car park (not our bike), about the pool area being wet and dangerous and she’s sick of cleaning it, confronted about the kids making noise. My nephew who is a baby, not even 2 yet must have been playing with a set of keys and stuck them in my bag by accident, she called my aunty and was super annoyed said if it’s not back by Tuesday that they’ll take our deposit. I was always sending it back express. As a hotel manager your job is to be of service to your guests staying at your hotel, which means being a kind, approachable women who’s happy to help. Not someone who’s watching (just our room) to take their money. I honestly felt it was more a racial thing, as we had 4 different apartment rooms with all the Māoris (parents, siblings, nieces and nephews) and kids in our room, we weren’t disrespectful to the place, we treat everywhere like our home it’s apart of our culture so to deal with someone’s so hostile wasn’t on our “holiday bucketlist”. Please find someone else to run your hotel because it’ll end up going into the ground with her there."
