"The hotel's value for money is excellent for a four-star hotel. Just around the right turn from the hotel is one of the best beaches on the island, with a small section of reef for snorkeling. The food was great; you could find everything you need. I wasn't particularly impressed with the a la carte restaurants, except for the steakhouse, but it's hard to get a reservation. I didn't like the Indian restaurant at all. The entertainment was also rather modest, but we don't go to those "shows" anyway; it's fine for us. The room was clean, and if you request it in the app, they'll bring you anything you might need, even slippers and a toothbrush. There are some downsides, of course: the glasses at the pool bar are a bit tacky, and the towels you get in the room and on the beach are sometimes threadbare, but that's if you're really looking for something to complain about. There's absolutely nowhere to go in the area on foot. Overall, everything met our expectations. We had a great time."

"The hotel is located in an area where there's nothing but beaches and other hotels. Restaurants and island attractions are quite a distance away. The winds pick up in the evenings. Swimming near the hotel is practically impossible due to rocks, especially when the tide goes out in the evening. The hotel itself is designed in an old African style, with a somewhat dull interior and exterior. A 'partial sea view' room actually offers a view of the restaurant's roof. The photos are outdated and don't reflect reality. The rooms have artificial flooring, which contributes to an overall cheap impression. The room decor is uninspiring and dated. The toilet is an add-on with a flimsy door. The shower has no enclosure, so water gets everywhere, which probably contributes to the floor swelling, as seen in the photos. There's no fridge in the room, which makes sense since there are no shops nearby anyway. If you don't have a car, there's really nothing to do here besides sunbathe on the beach. You'd get bored at the hotel after 2-3 days. Breakfasts are good and tasty, with an à la carte menu like in a restaurant. Be careful when checking out, as they might try to charge you a service fee – don't pay it. Overall, the hotel isn't worth the money. It's boring and old."

"The hotel is in the west, very big, with many rooms. You can surf on the public beach in front of the hotel, and the hotel provides free surfboards. The pier for whale and dolphin chasing boats is right at the door. Whale chasing boats must be booked in advance. It is best to find a local Chinese guide to book a boat with radar. The hotel includes breakfast. It is about 3 kilometers away from Casela Zoo, which is very close. You can make an appointment directly on Casela's official website for a 10 o'clock walk with lions, and join the 11:30 zoo sightseeing tour bus an hour later. Basically, you can complete the trip in half a day. You can arrange surfing in the afternoon, and eat crispy pizza at the pizza shop next to it in the evening, and then go back to the hotel pool to listen to the band singing."

"The hotel area is very green and beautiful! What I was looking for in Mauritius, but didn’t find in another hotel! Everything is here, singing birds and views, there is a beach for swimming with a lagoon, and there is a wild one with huge waves for photography or just enjoying the views, golf, a warm outdoor jacuzzi, swimming pools, wonderful view rooms, villas with a private pool are excellent! The food is also good! We were greeted with sparkling cake and upgraded the villa! Although the vacation was overshadowed by the fact that I left the ERES swimsuit at Villa 216 on a hanger in the bathroom... I wrote everywhere and for two weeks now, I get the answer... “no no no one found anything anywhere” well of course! There was no need to look, he was there... We draw conclusions... maybe the manager is not aware of the situation, well, at least he can read it, I hope they will still contact us upon return"
