"Disastrous. Tiny room. The sink in the entrance. 8 cm foam mattress. Cramped toilet/shower room, narrow space between the toilet and the shower door. Bed not made. Holes in the bottom sheet and the top sheet. Only 1 small towel per person. Roller shutter that does not work and finally no water in the tap or in the shower. We therefore called the manager twice to check and repair. The only positive point is the view of the lake and proximity to the city center. Avoid..."

"The Location of this hostel is stunning (besides the steps on the way up)! A short work from the town and ferry, we were very pleased! Room was very basic along with the shared bathroom, but couldn’t complain for the price. The staff were amazing, welcoming and caring! We spent a few evenings in the sister hostel round the corner, and the service was incredible! The staff chatted with us, and celebrated a birthday with us too. Would highly recommend this place if you’re okay with basic for a few days!"

"The hotel is very good but is 15 minutes from the center with stairs (hard rise ...). It has a clean pool, very pleasant staff, most of the balcony: very pleasant evening with a little wind, view of the pool, card games on the balcony, sensation of real holidays. "We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Loveno. It is up a steep hill, 15min walk but the views are worth it from your balcony. Our room (9) had gorgeous views. We had breakfast one morning which was €10 each, eggs & bacon, croissants, meats and cheese. I would definitely recommend"

"A wonderful hotel, the location is excellent, the ferry is nearby, which is very convenient, there's parking, a very beautiful, lovely promenade nearby, and restaurants. The grounds are small, but lounging by the pool with a view of Como is a special treat. The hotel also has its own dock with boats. The breakfast is wonderful, again with a wonderful view of the lake. The staff is very nice and helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends."

"didnt expect much from the price but this was horrible. we had scratchy bedsheets, a sheet cover to place ontop and then another scratchy blanket above that. No duvet or heating, the covers were incredibly thin and cheap. even wrapping ourselves fully in them did not deter the cold. Froze over all night only subsiding until the sun waked. I am diabetic and my body was fighting the heat so hard I kept having to eat sugar throughout the night. Neither of us got any sleep though due to my low body fat percentage i suffered more from the cold. children will probably die here, only in peaks of high summer should anyone ever consider visiting this place. The receptionist came out and stood by the entrance specifically to watch me and my partner as we smoked cigarettes and showed affection to each other - very creepy. Coming here is a weight/fat loss strategy but nothing else."

Both the interior and exterior were renovated and very stylish, yet the original crystal chandelier was still retained, a perfect blend of modern and classic.
