The bed is comfortable and room smells clean. I slept well. The receptionist and owner were very helpful with finding food options suitable for vegetarians. The receptionist answered every question with enthusiasm and care. The people in this hotel are very nice. I recommend everyone stay here instead of other hotels, you will be treated very well. I tried to stay in other hotel in Mengzi too, but this one is so much better. Thank you very much 🙏"

"This hotel is arguably one of the best in Mengzi. It's right by Nanhu Park, and upon arrival, they upgraded us to a lake view room where we could see Nanhu. The Nanhu Hui large mall is right next door, and there are several rice noodle shops in the alley behind the hotel, making dining incredibly convenient. The former site of the National Southwestern Associated University is just across Nanhu Park."

The shower water is terrible – it's either too hot or too cold, and it takes over 10 minutes to adjust to a constant temperature. The worst part is the breakfast; they only provide a bowl of rice noodles, and the soy milk is so thin it's like drinking water."

"Parking at this hotel is a bit tight; you often have to park on the pedestrian crossing, and if you arrive late, there are no spots left. Then you have to park at the shop next door and move your car in the morning, which is something to consider if you like to sleep in. The shower drain was quite slow, making it feel like I was standing in a puddle while showering. The hotel should really address the drainage issue. The room also had a strong smell of smoke when I entered, and I ended up sleeping with that smell all night. I couldn't figure out where the smoke was coming from, and the smell just wouldn't dissipate, especially since the room had its own split-unit air conditioner, not a shared central AC system."

"I've always had a good impression of Vienna Hotels and always choose them for business trips. This wasn't my first time staying at this hotel, but this time I had three unpleasant experiences: 1. On my first day, the front desk gave me a room, but when I went upstairs with my luggage, I found someone repairing the air conditioner. The cleaning lady offered to change my room to a business king room. I asked if I would have to pay extra, but because I was carrying heavy luggage and was tired, I waited. I didn't complain when they changed my room, but the sink and shower were ridiculously small. More importantly, the drain smelled terrible. 2. I went for breakfast at 9:30 am, probably close to the end of the mealtime. The staff had a very sour face and said the milk wouldn't come out, even though there was milk, it might be blocked by the milk cloth. They told me to check it myself… 3. I needed to run some errands at noon and asked the front desk if I could print something. They said yes, but when I asked if I had their WeChat, they were impatient the whole time… The service experience was absolutely terrible."

The room I booked was spacious and bright, elegantly decorated, warm and comfortable. The bed was soft and comfortable, allowing me to get a good rest during the tiring journey. The facilities in the room are all available and are very well maintained, clean and tidy. The bathroom is spacious and clean, the toiletries are of high quality, and the hot water supply is sufficient."

"The room was decorated according to the standards of a former four-star hotel. It had everything that was expected, the hygiene was relatively good, and it was relatively quiet at night. We were all quite satisfied. The breakfast was a set of cross-bridge rice noodles for 18 yuan. I really liked this bowl of rice noodles. I would go to their restaurant to eat cross-bridge rice noodles even when I wasn't staying in a hotel."

"We chose this art-filled guesthouse and it was absolutely fantastic! The rooms are designed in the style of an old house, but the amenities are modern and excellent. Every little detail makes you feel so cozy and welcome. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and recommended some great restaurants with delicious food, which really enriched our trip. The location is also perfect, right inside the Bisezhai scenic area, making it very convenient to explore the area and take photos of the滇越 railway. All in all, this was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience!"

"Downstairs is a large commercial area with plenty of food options. It's about a 20-minute walk to the night market, which is perfect for a stroll back after dinner. It's also a convenient ten-minute walk to the Southwest Associated University area. Taxis are very quick to respond there. The environment is nice. The bathroom towels were a bit poor, shedding lint. Almost a perfect score overall."

"Luckily, my room number was 520. My partner was visiting me from Guangxi, and the hotel's environment, service, and price were all excellent. The hotel receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. A highlight was the comfortable recliner next to the bed. Besides air conditioning, there was also a humidifier, which was a thoughtful touch given the dry weather in Yunnan. It's about one kilometer from the Nanhu Hui commercial area. Breakfast is just across the street, about 200 meters away; it's chrysanthemum rice noodles, which are delicious, but the queue is always very long. There's also a restaurant nearby called Guan Lao Da, which is also very good—they cook rice noodles in unique small pots. My partner and I hadn't seen each other for a year, and I'm so grateful for the wonderful experience this hotel provided during our short three days together."
