The all-you-can-drink plan was good, but while the Western-style breakfast I had last time was very delicious, this time it was only Japanese food, and it felt like they just put pre-made side dishes on a plate. I was just as satisfied with the quality of the hot springs and the room grade as I was last time."

It may be unavoidable because it is a visitor, but the meal was a room meal. The food was very delicious. We recommend a small family bath next to the large communal bath. "So many little things that make this hotel much better than anything else. The way they show you to your room, the way they put your shoes away and bring them back on your departure date, the way dinner and breakfast is waiting for you at your own private table, the way they let couples share an onsen during quiet hours. My point is - you will feel like a VIP here. The staff and always there, taking care of you in subtle ways, but you never feel watched or intruded on. This kind of invisible service - maybe hard for westerners to understand, but it is excellent. You will feel like you are really being understand and looked after. Highly recommend. Best hotel service I've had in japan in 2 years of living here. Highly recommended."

The live kitchen's tempura (crispy shrimp), sushi (tuna!), sirloin steak, and morning omelet were especially good. Also, the all-you-can-drink menu had a wide selection of beer, highballs, wine, shochu, and sake, so I was spoiled for choice. Very satisfied, thank you very much."

"What impressed me most was the excellent breakfast and dinner! I highly recommend staying at this onsen hotel when visiting Gunma. The main dish for dinner was sukiyaki, which was delicious, and each dish was prepared with great care. The food here is really tasty! This time, I stayed in a room with a private open-air onsen bath. The onsen quality here is very high; the spring water isn't heated, allowing you to soak while enjoying the view of Mount Tanigawa. The service was impeccable in every detail, including specially provided pajamas and decaffeinated roasted tea served at night. The next morning, you can also enjoy complimentary coffee while admiring Mount Tanigawa again."
