"We had a girls' birthday party at Setre Marina Biwako. The forecast was for rain, but luckily we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of biwako from the lounge with a beer in hand. Setre is all-inclusive, so those of us who like alcohol can enjoy endless beers. Eclairs will be served from 16:00 and sparkling drinks will be served at the cocktail party from 17:30. This was quite delicious. Dinner starts at 6:30 pm, and the theme is ``Megumi'' (written ``Megumi''). Imagine a trip around Biwako and enjoy the blessings of the region. The dishes were inspired by the chef's desire to bring out the best in each dish, regardless of cooking style. In particular, the pasta garni was made with trout, which is typical of Lake Biwa, and I was impressed by its refreshing taste. Pairing is recommended for high cost performance. I can't speak about the wine, but I'm quite satisfied. It's morning, and you can have a cute morning set in your room. The morning coffee was delicious, so I thought I'd have it and go home, but they said they didn't have the morning coffee. It seems to be a setre original blend. My birthday was a success and it was a fun trip."

"This Japanese-style Marriott resort by Lake Biwa offers rooms on higher floors with direct lake views, and some room types even come with a private hot spring bath. I enjoyed the Omi beef dishes at the 12th-floor panoramic restaurant, and the breakfast selection was extensive and to my liking. The hotel also features natural hot springs and a heated swimming pool. There's a free shuttle service to Katata Station, and complimentary parking for those driving. Given the high hotel prices in Kyoto on weekends, the Lake Biwa Marriott, just a 30-minute drive from Kyoto, is an excellent alternative."
