"We had an enjoyable 2 nights stay in this resort. The facilities and amenities were good. What we liked best was the Hotspring that is located near the hotel. You can walk or take the shuttle golf cart to the location. In there there were several pools for everyone’s leisure. When we went it was not too busy. I had the whole pool all to myself.
The breakfast was also good but mainly local dishes. We opted to eat somewhere nearby for dinner and lunch. There are a few restaurants near the hotel that you can walk/bike or take the shuttle golf cart to.
They do have a few bikes that you can take for free to roam the area.
The pool was quiet but we found that it lacked workers to help with items such as towels, cushion and other pool supplies.
Overall, I recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet vacation away from crowds."

"Thoughtfully designed and new rooms - simple but elegant and has everything you need for a quality stay. My room had a view of the mountains and green fields and it was a great sight to wake up to in the morning. There are plenty of places and balconies on both sides of the building for you to slow down, rest and enjoy tea.
Special compliment to the owner and his staff. They helped me with my luggage up the stairs, chatted with me every time they saw me, and invited me to drink with them one night. I made some great friends and can’t wait to come back.
If you’re in menghai, you won’t regret staying here!"

"The hotel is really beautifully designed and the breakfast was delicious. We chose the hot spring bath in the apartment option and it was really hot and very relaxing. The owner even gave us a free bottle of wine to enjoy while soaking. The area is lovely for long walks and peace and quiet."

It is famous for its magical tropical rainforest natural landscape and ethnic minority customs. The annual Water-Splashing Festival is known as the "Oriental Carnival".
"STRONG ADVOCATES! Stunning experience with a Bulang family. We stayed in the quaint guesthouse in the standalone suite with two double bed rooms and a sweet balcony and tea table. The design is soothing and surrounding nature is a welcomed change for city dwellers. That said, one has to be ready for this proximity to nature (mosquito repellent and ear plugs for early rooster crows).
It was the perfect start to our exploration in Yunnan as the host and her brother’s family took us under their wing to show us the tea plantation, roasting, and how to appreciate the local teas. This truly was a most beautiful experience of the warmest hospitality and such vivid insights about the community and stories of development that has been experienced. We learnt so much about the tea varieties and traditions here, giving us anthropological insights and inspiring stories of resilience and growth. The village is well sized for walking around to the tea plantation, temple, cultural museum, and sunset lookout. Do give yourself a couple of days here at least."

MMisafir KullanıcıStaying at Mukelan hotel was such a special experience for our family. Nestled on the side of a tea mountain that faced a nearby village, it felt like we were suspended in the clouds and could truly unwind and slowly enjoy the peaceful, beautiful scenery all around us.
A major reason our stay was so memorable was the staff. The staff, from the manager, to the driver, cleaners, cook, and tea connoisseur, made us feel truly welcome and well taken care of. Upon arrival to Xishuangbanna train station, we were picked up in a Mercedes-Benz van with leather seats and slippers to change into. When the hotel happened to be less busy for a couple days, the very thoughtful manager and tea connoisseur arranged an impromptu day trip for us based on our preferences. At the hotel, we loved the daily tea drinking sessions, where the wonderful connoisseur taught us many new things about pu’er tea, the star commodity of the region. We also made pu’er tea cakes, played mahjong, and enjoyed daily hikes on the secluded mountain trails.
If you’re looking to get away from the city and unwind in a beautiful place where you can finally hear yourself think, I could not recommend Mukelan hotel highly enough! You’ll be so happy you stayed here.

Для нас главное - это любовь к чаю, которой они делятся. Мы посетили с боссом окружающие достопримечательности, особенно понравилась прогулка к чайному королю. Посмотрели как растет чай весной, посмотрели на процесс производства пуэра.

PPatriciaDizA Hidden Gem in the Heart of China's Tea Plantations
Our stay at this homestay was nothing short of magical. We traveled as a group of eight, including two young children, three grandparents, and three adults, and every single one of us had an incredible time. Nestled amidst lush tea plantations, the setting is absolutely stunning. Each morning, we woke up to breathtaking sunrises and a serene mist that blanketed the landscape. The house itself is a work of art—crafted entirely of wood and with impeccable aesthetic taste that reflects a deep respect for nature.
But as beautiful as the surroundings and accommodations are, the true highlight of our stay was the hospitality of the host. In our three years in China, we have never experienced anything like it. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying in a hotel. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home.
The food was exceptional, and we were treated to fresh fruits and tea throughout the day. She showed special care for our children, teaching them (and us!) how to make tea, and even accompanied us on a walk to share her knowledge of the local flora. One day, she surprised us with her hidden talent as a musician, singing traditional Chinese songs while playing the guitar and drums. Her smile and positive energy were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us.
This homestay was more than just a place to stay—it was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, warmth, and cultural connection. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, knowing this was the best place we've ever stayed in China. If you're looking for a place that offers not just comfort but also an extraordinary sense of belonging, this is it. Highly recommended!

Scenic location nestled in the mountains, the weather here was cooler and more comfortable than in nearby Jinghong. The rooftop cafe was a great place to see the beautiful sunset each evening, and the room balcony view was also spectacular. Would recommend the morning tea hike activity, it was a great way to better understand where tea comes from and sample Pu'er tea once back at the hotel. If you are up for a longer hike (1.5 hours each way) you can also walk up the scenic mountain road to see a nearby ancient tea tree. Food was excellent, enjoyable breakfast and a variety of delicious dishes available for dinner. Hotel service was first rate, hotel staff checked in often to make sure that the room and the stay were great. Will definitely stay here again on next visit to Xishuangbanna!

AAyao-A酒店位於勐巴拉度假區裏面，環境非常優美，拍照非常好看，還有粉紅沙灘，可以餵食孔雀，我住的是帳篷房，裏面非常保暖一點也不冷，衞生也非常乾淨，還有網紅蝸牛套房也非常好看，下次來要住一晚，服務也是非常的好，酒店非常大，從入住全程都有人幫忙抬行李到房間，很有特色的一家酒店。

The rooms are quite simple but everything you need and clean. The nights are cold in winter but you can heat bedsheets which is very good.

DDongligeerdong是個茶園，環境真的是不錯，服務也很好。上山的路到後半段新手司機就別嘗試了😅。因為有段較長的向下步行階梯，為了方便，老闆特地裝了個運行李的電梯。大隱於市，城市待膩了，過來住幾天很不錯，因為是剛開業，有些設施可能還不是太完善，不是獨立棟的房間隔音不太好，能聽到隔壁鄰居的説話聲和呼嚕聲，用水聲等等聲音😅😂🤣。晚上可以看到很多星星，用手機也能拍。
