과하지도 모자르지도 않음. 깨끗하고 넓찍한 방. 방에 붙어있는 온천은 크지 않은데 즐기기에는 충분함. 음식은 화려하지는 않지만 과하지 않아서 만족스러움. 식당이랑 커피마시는 라운지에서 연못위에 있는 건축물이 보이는데 분위기도 좋고 사진찍기도 좋음.

An absolutely wonderful experience.
The staff at the ryokan were incredibly polite and always ready to help with anything we needed. Upon check-in, we were provided with traditional attire, pajamas, tabi slippers, bath amenities, and a small welcome treat with matcha and coffee. We also asked at the front desk if they could give us a ride to the bus stop after check-out, and they kindly said yes, of course. 
Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. At first, we were planning to explore several other local onsens, but after experiencing the ones at the ryokan, we felt completely satisfied. There are separate baths for hotel guests (men’s and women’s), baths open to both guests and visitors (also divided by gender), as well as a private onsen. One of the onsens also has a sauna.
The traditional dinner and breakfast were both impressive—delicious and very generous in portion.
The surrounding grounds are stunning, perfect for peaceful walks. This ryokan is a bit further from the main cluster of inns, but that was exactly what we wanted—to enjoy quiet walking.
At night, our futons were laid out for us, adding to the authentic experience. The only reason I deducted one star is the very bright green light on the ceiling that stays on all night and can’t be turned off or covered. I didn’t have a sleep mask with me, and the ryokan didn’t provide one, so I had a sleepless night. It was quite unpleasant.
That said, I still highly recommend this ryokan—it’s an unforgettable place to stay.

Hotel food seems not too innovative compared many newer ryokans. Room is very wet and moist throughout the night. Air con is placement is directly on top of bed, so it is either cold or too warm due to the moist.

We have a good experience in this Onsen hotel. A lady greeted us at the entrance and she served us very well in the dinner. The private outdoor onsen gave us an enjoyable experience. Moreover, she share many information with us, and she could explain clearly how we prepare to visit Mountain Ah So on next day, so that we finally could visit the cracker no 1. I highly recommended this hotel to anyone visit Minamiaso.

Great experience living in a ryokan in the rural areas of Kyushu. Location was secluded which was great for time away from the bustling city, but was confusing to get to when arriving at night. Staff were very polite despite their lack of English proficiency. One area of improvement could be to provide suggestions on places to visit in the onsen village. The baths were warm and soothing, the private baths were a tad small though. Dinner and breakfast was great as well. Overall a positive ryokan experience.

If coming, will definitely choose to come back to stay here.

Nice little cottage. As some reviews shared, location is not close to town which was expected. The friendly couple at check in and process is smooth even when they don’t speak English. Did not realise the amenities was without towels and tried to knock on their office past 9pm to ask if they are able to provide but there was no answer. Had to live without towels for the 1 night I was there unfortunately.

Onsen and sauna were incredible - but the location from the carpark to the check-in counter was super inconvenient for travellers with big luggage. Other than that, the bus services are very regular, the buffet was tasty and the room was cosy. Really love the Hobitton feels of this place.

位置不太好找，網上的店名power spot campsite和當地位置所顯示的（未來樹）不同。 找了好幾次，都跑到荒山野嶺都看不到 好在最後在晚上22：30左右抵達check in 環境優美，沒車不建議居住。 沒有棉被晚上睡覺好冷🥶 需自備毛巾牙刷牙膏。
