"Muy recomendable!! Un BuenoBonitoBarato en la isla de Cat Ba. Según lo que hemos conocido es difícil encontrar algo así en Vietnam!!! Gem, la dueña, es súper hospitalaria, siempre con una sonrisa. Desde el día de la reserva se puso en contacto con nosotros para saber la hora de llegada y si necesitábamos algo (incluso nos ofreció transporte que nos recogería en nuestro hotel anterior en Ha Long y nos dejarían en la puerta del Napoli). Lo tiene todo preparado para que puedas organizar el viaje desde su ”centro de mando”: alquiler de motos, servicio de lavandería, diferentes tours por la isla y desayuno con diferentes menús, todos acompañados de bebidas y fruta. También el viaje para ir a tu próximo destino... Todo a buen precio Las habitaciones son como en las fotos, y la ropa de cama y toallas están limpias. Hay amenities básicas, así como café, té y agua. Hay nevera, y agua caliente. Si volvemos a Cat Ba, volveremos al Napoli!!"

"Когда мы приехали, нам девушка на ресепшене сказала, что у нас забронирован номер без окна (хотя в карточке номера была фотография с окном), но нам предложили повысить категорию номера без доплаты (потому что в отеле было мало постояльцев). В итоге мы жили в большом семейном номере, состоящем из трёх комнат, но нас попросили в две комнаты не заходить, и мы попросили их закрыть на ключ, чтобы ребенок туда не заходил. Плюс такого номера в большой прихожей, в которой можно оставить обувь и рюкзаки, чтобы они не захламляли комнату. Комната чистая, нам всё понравилось. На 8 этаже бассейн и бильярд, а также несколько настолок, что очень удобно, пока ребенок игрался с настолками, мы с мужем играли в бильярд :) Бильярдный стол правда не для профессионалов, с небольшим уклоном, но скоротать вечер пойдёт )) На завтрак в первый день выбор был, в остальные дни выбора почти не было (может потому что в первый день было больше туристов). В целом за такую цену очень хорошо."

"We stayed for 2 nights here in the top floor family room. We had a nice large terrace facing the mountain. The room was spotlessly clean, the mattress was good and there was enough lighting all around. Plenty of free bottled water was provided. The bathroom was huge with both a shower and bathtub. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with pancake and pho and fresh fruits. The service was very good, whenever we had a query, we were promptly addressed via WhatsApp with the owner. The location is just right for us, who want to be a few mins walking distance to the main street and restaurant and is quiet enough away from loud music from the tourist bars and restaurants. We highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Catba. Thank you to the owner!"

"The hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong."

"The room was amazing, the views from the balcony on 14th floor just stunning. There's a kitchen in the room, only for display as you will get fined for using even the microwave 😂 We had to ask for clean towels and water one day, because it had been forgotten when the room was made up. The hotel is HUGE so getting to and from the pool or open restaurant is a big trip, there's no way the kids could go anywhere on their own in this massive complex. The kids club is just a room, no club as such. The games in the kids club room are incredibly expensive so we didn't use at all. The view from the third building restaurant is amazing if you get there early enough to get a window seat. The breakfast buffet is ok. When it gets busy though, the food keeps running out. There was one! Coffee pot for probably 400 people so you have to run back and forth across this massive restaurant to check if it's been refilled. We had buffet lunch once, which was very poor. For 1.7M VND you don't even get water to drink but have to buy separately and there are not many options for kids to eat. Again, the food ran out so you had to walk up and down several times to check if it's been replaced and dodge the crowds on the way. Not a very nice experience. The hotel cannot help with bookings or suggestions for excursions unless you book their tours, which are wildly overpriced and few to choose from. Hotel pools were amazing for our kids! The stay was nice overall but we wouldn't go back to this hotel."

Beautiful newly opened hotel with very nice staff providing excellent service! We stayed at the Moon Boutique Hotel for one night while visiting Cat Ba island. The hotel is very well located on the town's main street and all sights on the island are easily accessible from this point. The room was large, stylishly decorated and had a very comfortable bed. Our favorite part of the hotel however was the staff! They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and have a nice time on the island! They provided us great information about activities, prepared excellent welcome drinks and breakfast and always had a smile on their face. It was also very nice to see how well they worked as a team! Definitely the best hotel on Cat Ba!

Review for View Point Anh Quan Hotel, Cat Ba I recently had the pleasure of staying at the View Point Anh Quan Hotel in Cat Ba, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the pier and close to Cat Co beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local attractions. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with stunning views from both my balcony and the rooftop cafe. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was truly a highlight of my trip. The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me. Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend View Point Anh Quan Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Cat Ba!

Conveniently located, we picked this hotel to do a one day boat trip to Alan Ha bay and a day in the National parc. Mattress was comfortable, room was clean and breakfast was good. The whole street was under big construction so it was noisy and dusty. Better to double check with the hotel to make sure roadwork is complete. Suggestion : 1. change body wash and shampoo as the one provided in our room smell bad, 2. Partner with a better motorbike rental company : we rent 2 different scooters through the hotel, both were in poor condition (damaged tyres, poor brake, empty tank, engine failure, smelly helmet)

The hotel is located in a fantastic and beautiful place, in a small village surrounded by mountains. It is very quiet and peaceful here. The rooms meet all the basic requirements, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the food is delicious.

Excelente hotel. Está un poco lejos del centro pero puedes alquilar moto o te facilitan taxis. Puedes reservar excursiones con ellos directamente. El restaurante fenomenal. Todo lo que comimos estuvo delicioso. Muy amables todos el personal.

Nicely decorated room and very comfortable and funcional. The location is not great, it is bit far from the center and even more from the beaches. Staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast has some options but the quality is not the best. There is a rooftop bar and restaurant but it is not clear what are the open hours. We tried to get there in the afternoon and nobody was there.

I needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

good location, 7 minutes walking to the beach. OK breakfast although very simple. very very basic rooms. TV not working and when we asked to replace- the answer was IMPOSSIBLE. no reading light. need to be ready to this missing comfort. but for that price still ok.
