"I booked the Shimao Holiday Hotel for my trip to Mudanjiang, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a few minutes' walk to Beishan Park, perfect for a morning stroll to enjoy the snow scenery and an evening to admire the sunset – a small but precious joy during the trip. It's also not far from the city's commercial district, only a ten-minute taxi ride away, making shopping and dining very convenient. The staff member at check-in, Cheng Xin, was incredibly welcoming, greeting us with a smile throughout and proactively recommending local delicacies and sightseeing routes – so thoughtful! Our double room was spacious and bright, with soft and clean bedding. The heating was excellent; in Mudanjiang's sub-zero temperatures of over -20 degrees Celsius, returning to the room felt like instantly warming up. The bathroom had complete toiletries, and the hot water supply was consistent, allowing me to comfortably take a hot shower and instantly relieve travel fatigue. The hotel breakfast deserves special praise – an incredibly diverse selection! Freshly cooked hot soup noodles with Northeastern-style pickled cabbage sauce – one bite and you're warmed to the core; there were also various Chinese pastries, Western breads, and fresh fruit – everything was delicious and satisfying. When we checked out, the front desk thoughtfully gave us some local snacks, which was so heartwarming! For just over 300 yuan, the hotel quality was amazing, the value for money was off the charts. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Mudanjiang!"
