"The lobby was alright, but after checking in and getting off the elevator, I was truly shocked. There were private apartments mixed in with the rooms – unbelievable! Entering the room was even worse. The hygiene was appalling; the walls were moldy, the sink was covered in grime, the toilet was dirty, some of the switches were wobbly, and there were cockroaches crawling on the floor. I had a terrible night's stay. It was more like a hostel than a hotel. After this experience, I will never come to Quanzhou again. It shows how poorly managed the city is; how could something this bad be rated as a hotel?"

"I have never stayed in such a bad hotel, bar none. There wasn't even a phone in the room, so I couldn't call the front desk. The bathroom drain was clogged, and the whole room would flood if I took a shower. Over time, the floor in the room was also damaged, and the showerhead was broken. I was sprayed in the face as soon as I turned it on. It's called a hotel, but it's more like a youth apartment, and they're charging over 200 yuan. I wouldn't stay there for a few dozen yuan."
