"Location - Too far from the centre of Negombo to walk Service - Staff didn't really understand English so it usually took 4 or 5 of them to discuss a request and then not to do what was asked anyway (Very frustrating!) Bar - Non existent due to having lost their licence! Would have been good to be advised of this upon check-in Lift - Not working! Had to use service lifts which made the journey to our room very long and through not-so-nice areas of the hotel Beach - Not a nice beach area. Used by locals but not very good for tourists The Rooms were very stylish but the whole hotel gives the impression that it needs some TLC to bring it back to a good standard Several times we asked for issues to be brought to the attention of the Manager ... or the Duty Manager ... it never happened and nobody seemed to be running the place Avoid at all costs as you will be disappointed!"

"Except for the remote location, everything else is ok. To get to this hotel, you have to walk a long way. There is no lighting. If you are alone, it is not recommended to stay here. It is too inconvenient to go out. We were told that an additional fee of 50 yuan would be charged. After I complained to Ctrip, Ctrip sent me a red envelope. Thank you Ctrip. Also, there is too much disinfectant in the water of the swimming pool"

Ace Airport Transit Hotel

"No one answered when I rang the hotel doorbell, and when I called, a staff member came about 30 minutes later and told me that we were the only guests booked that day and that the electricity wouldn't work. I booked it simply because it was close to the airport, but the location is hard to find and there are no shops nearby. Also, the hotel garden was unkempt, full of weeds, and swarming with mosquitoes. I told the staff member who came that I would cancel if there was no electricity. After I booked another hotel and headed there, the owner called and told me to come back because they would turn on the electricity. Furthermore, they said they wouldn't refund my money if I didn't stay. You should absolutely not stay here."

"Do not book this place, I had a confirmed booking, when I arrived from India, initially the attendant, told me there's no booking, after trying to contact flipkart and clear trip whise customer support is equally pathetic, after some time she checked her mail and said there is booking but no room available, later she gave me a single bed room, which was not yhe toom i booked, the lady was continously demanding me to either tale the room or leave the property. As I was tired and there was no support from flipkart or clear trip, was forced to take the room. The room condition is also poor the ac doesn't work, no kettle, wifi is pathetic namesake only. The fan squeaks. Do not book this place, as it was midnight I really had no option the ans from cleartrip and the property attendant was take the room or cancel the booking was pathetic, Just to save a few bucks please do not fall in the similar mess I am in. Stay clear......."

"Made a reservetion in the last minut and went there to get a break from my job, but got more great experience than I expected! It was easy to get there since they have flexible pick ups at the airport. The place was peaceful and full of nature. Staff members were very kind and flexible. I loved the morning Yoga sessions and evening meditations. The treatment was great and even though I only stayed for 4 days, I could feel my body and mental health change. I would loved to come back again."
