The view outside the window was absolutely stunning, and falling asleep to the sound of the water when no one else was around was wonderful. The butler, Zhima, provided excellent service! They offered honey grapefruit tea and tremella soup, and breakfast was very hearty! Plus, there was a shuttle bus service, so I didn't have to carry my own luggage, which was a huge plus! Lugu Lake is such a peaceful place, I'd definitely go back if I get the chance."

"This is a spontaneous good review! The service was incredibly thoughtful, starting from the moment I made the reservation. They provided full pick-up and drop-off service for my bus journey, and a dedicated butler helped me with my luggage all the way to my room. At check-out, they again helped with my bags and took me to the bus stop at the village entrance. Our butler was a young woman who was so eager to help with the luggage – super enthusiastic! I will definitely recommend this place to friends who come here in the future. The scenery of Lugu Lake is beautiful, and I was very satisfied with both the service and my stay at Zaojian. It was truly a worthwhile trip!"

They also gave me a souvenir! Breakfast was really nice too, very filling and delicious. A fantastic experience overall!"

"The room decor and facilities were quite good, and the service was very warm and proactive. The lobby view was also great. However, the lake view from the balcony was completely blocked by five trees, which was very disappointing and seriously inconsistent with the room type photos. Also, the hot water temperature in the room was quite unstable. The bedding, though, was soft and comfortable."

"The hotel facilities are very new, and both the courtyard and interiors are beautiful, perfect for taking photos. It has an elevator, smart home system throughout, an adjustable bed, and a Marshall speaker. Breakfast is a buffet. There's a TV, but the VIP channels aren't activated, and screen mirroring didn't work for some reason. Also, the black frames of the windows somewhat obstruct the view. I stayed three days at Lugu Lake, and this was the most expensive hotel. It's decent, but I don't particularly care for the smart home features or photo opportunities. I prioritize the view outside the window and warm, friendly service, so for me, this hotel wasn't great value for money."

"I like this inn so much. When you open the sliding door, you can see Lugu Lake outside. It’s super beautiful! You can also watch the sunrise! The room is also very comfortable, it has air conditioning, and the bathroom has a bathroom heater, so it doesn't get cold, which is nice. The whole room feels like logs, which I like. I will come again next time."

Lugu Lake Shanyu Lake View Resort Hotel (Daluoshui Branch)
"What truly leaves an impression when staying at a hotel is the human connection. The two young men here were incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, constantly busy helping every guest, always accommodating, and provided thoughtful care. Since we didn't drive, we relied on them to take us to Daluoshui Pier, and they were always quick to respond. The night before we left, the driver we booked suddenly canceled (!!avoid this driver at all costs!!), leaving us without transport. It was A-Long who helped us find a driver late at night. It wasn't part of his job, but he was simply willing to do whatever he could to help us resolve the issue. Luckily, he managed to contact someone, ensuring we had a smooth journey back. A huge thank you to him! The hotel's facilities are excellent, clean, and tidy. There's a road outside the hotel, with the lake just across it. The windows are soundproof, so it didn't affect our sleep at all. Overall, highly recommended!"

"My two-day stay at Yulu Ting Weiting by Lugu Lake was truly magical, allowing me to fully embrace its breathtaking beauty. Opening the balcony door, the turquoise waters of Lugu Lake immediately greeted my eyes. Occasionally, traditional dugout canoes would glide by like ink spots on blue silk, while in the distance, the golden temple roof on a small island shimmered brilliantly under the sun. The concierge team's attentiveness truly shines through in every detail: from the sumptuous and delicious breakfast and afternoon tea to their prompt and helpful responses, no matter how late the hour. And let's not forget the adorable, incredibly well-behaved resident dog! All these wonderful experiences make me eager to return. PS: Don't forget to contact the concierge early to book their recommended photographer! They are incredibly professional and deliver stunning photos with a chic French-inspired luxury style, guaranteeing countless likes on your social media!"

"The room wasn't huge, and the hygiene and facilities were pretty much on par with a standard guesthouse. I accidentally booked a stay in Sanjiacun, but to my surprise, the hotel even offered afternoon tea and a bonfire party. Plus, the pier right next to the hotel is absolutely stunning – a perfect spot for photos, way better than the overly commercialized Dalianshui. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed at this hotel in Lugu Lake for work in April and had a great experience. For my family trip this time, I chose Eluodi Hotel again. As always, the room's view was excellent, and I was very satisfied with the upgraded semi-mountain sea view room. Their butler service is very good, especially Duzhi, Lamei, Yangsen, and Danzhu, who are always responsive to any questions. They made our trip to Lugu Lake very smooth and enjoyable!"

"I stayed here for four consecutive nights. The overall feeling was very good. First of all, the family room was large and clean. The bed and quilt were very comfortable. It was not cold at night. I originally booked a mountain view room, but the boss upgraded it to a room with a lake view. Secondly, it was very convenient to eat and go in and out. It only took a few minutes to walk to the lake. The rice noodles in the morning were good. The boss's own stone pot fish was also very delicious. You can park your car and drive around the lake. Finally, the boss was very enthusiastic. When I left, he gave me apples grown by himself. They were better than the ones we bought outside. I want to come again next time."

"It has its own parking lot, is very quiet, and is very close to the lake and the ferry. The room is very smart, with a large lake view window that automatically raises and lowers halfway. "## Environment: The hotel is located on the back of Goddess Mountain. It's a 15-minute drive to Goddess Mountain, 20 minutes to Daloshui Village, and 35 minutes to Puluo Pier, all without traffic. It's very quiet, but there are no restaurants nearby. It's best suited for self-driving tourists. ## Service: The restaurant service was quite subpar, easily the worst I've experienced in a 5-star hotel, and not even as good as other Indigo properties. The staff just stood around and were not at all proactive. I even saw a server put a teabag with its paper tag still on directly into the teapot. The teacups weren't cleaned properly and still had tea stains. The food taste was decent. Apart from the restaurant, all other services were excellent. ## Room: The room was very small, the bed was 1.2 meters, and the toothbrush shed bristles a bit. I was torn between this Indigo and the neighboring Lanyue, and I somewhat regret choosing Indigo. The views at Lanyue are better, though Lanyue is a bit more expensive."

"After driving around Lugu Lake, I can confidently say this guesthouse is the closest to the road, bar none! All the other lakeside guesthouses are separated from the lake by a pedestrian street – not wide, but definitely not directly on the lake. Only this one is right on the shore. The room offers fantastic direct views of the entire lake and Goddess Mountain. The owner and staff are all very friendly, and they provide electric car transfers for getting around. The only minor drawback was that the charging station wasn't working when we visited, but it's not far from other charging points. It's very close to Lover's Beach and Goddess Mountain, about a 20-minute drive. A really great experience!"

"Don't trust the views shown on the platform. I booked this hotel more than ten days ago, thinking that its remote location near the lake would offer beautiful views of Lugu Lake. But alas! 1. There was absolutely no sea view from the room. Opening the curtains revealed numerous cars; it was a garage view, offering no privacy whatsoever. Cars were parked less than two meters from the window (see attached photo). The curtains had to be kept closed constantly. 2. There was a strange odor in the room, a stagnant smell permeating the entire space, and the staff did nothing to address it. 3. I found a giant insect in the bathroom. 4. When I requested a room change, customer service responded that the hotel was full and I could only cancel my reservation. How can guests who have traveled so far be expected to find a new hotel so quickly? This is clearly irresponsible."

"We booked three lake-view rooms for two nights, but the rooms weren't clean enough. There were hairpins left on the floor by the girl from last time, hair in the corner of the bathroom, and three lights were broken. The lights in our friend's room were also broken. The iron railings on the terrace were covered in cobwebs. There are many guesthouses in the same row, and from the outside, Thatched Cottage looked the worst."
