"Among all the accommodations on the Lugu Lake shore at Daluoshui, Three-Color Cloud River feels like the absolute best. I really love their decor style; the lobby offers beautiful views everywhere you look. The staff are all very enthusiastic, diligent, and reliable, especially Miss Zhima. She's incredibly capable and responsible, treating every guest wonderfully and taking excellent care of everyone. I often saw her bustling around, constantly busy with tasks, and her thoughtful service was incredibly heartwarming. Staying at Three-Color Cloud River truly felt like being at home. The facilities are comprehensive, with thoughtful touches like afternoon tea, evening white fungus soup, and even face masks. Every day, the room is stocked with snacks and tea. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends."

The location couldn't possibly be better (there's also an abundance of restaurants and coffee shops around the lakefront). The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. "The B&B boasts an excellent location with stunning lake views from the window. The Mosuo Museum is right out the back door, offering an effortless way to learn about Mosuo culture. The front entrance is very close to Daloshui Wharf, making it super convenient to catch a 'pig trough boat'. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help. The breakfast is hearty every day, and afternoon tea and a sweet nightly soup are delivered to the room on time. I especially want to highlight that their private chef's food is absolutely delicious! I stayed in Lugu Lake for 3 days and tried stone pot fish and firewood chicken, but surprisingly, the home-style cooking at this B&B was the most satisfying. I regret not discovering it sooner! I hope future guests see my review and definitely give it a try!"

"We were a family of two adults and one child. The butler noticed our child was a bit big, so they kindly upgraded us for free to the Pomegranate Room (which has a pomegranate tree inside!) – it was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel service was incredibly warm and welcoming. They helped us with our luggage when we arrived and when we checked out. Whenever we went out, they'd proactively ask if we needed more bottled water. They also helped us plan our sightseeing route based on our schedule. Since we only had one day, we chose to take a pig-trough boat in Langfang Village to see the 'water-loving catkins,' ride electric scooters in Daloshui, and enjoy the panoramic view from the Lige Observation Deck. We were really lucky with the weather this time; after several cloudy days, it suddenly cleared up. Combined with the room's unbeatable view, our photos turned out absolutely stunning. It's worth mentioning that all the flowers in the room were fresh-cut. Both the room and the common areas were decorated with great taste, and the cleanliness was excellent! The breakfast was a combination of à la carte and buffet, which was well-designed and delicious. Overall, our stay was a fantastic experience. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Lugu Lake!"

The dining experience was also fantastic: the breakfast was rich, delicious, and offered a wide variety of fresh, tasty options. In the evenings, they even prepared comforting white fungus soup and sweet dessert soups – a warm and soothing treat on a cool night. And the service? Absolutely impeccable! The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were consistently warm, attentive, and incredibly thorough. They were always ready to answer questions and responded promptly. I particularly want to give a huge shout-out to Zaxi – when we couldn't find our car, he went above and beyond, helping us coordinate and resolve the issue with incredible patience and reliability. "I initially had some reservations about staying in a B&B, especially after coming from a luxury resort like Yin She Yi Jing, and was worried about a drop in quality. However, it turned out to be a huge and pleasant surprise! From its prime waterfront location to its incredibly tasteful design aesthetic and meticulous service details, it surpassed my expectations. It's absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited my taste. It's not just for show or Instagram-worthy shots; the design is phenomenal, the materials are carefully chosen, and they've thought of every guest's comfort, evident in the thoughtfully provided amenities. The butler service was also very responsive and efficient. Breakfast is a buffet with rice noodles and Western set options, and both the restaurant and cafe are stunning, with delicious and beautifully presented food. There's also a fantastic library on the 4th floor where you could easily spend half a day reading or just relaxing. In short, every detail is excellent; it truly combines the best aspects of both hotels and B&Bs. If I had to pick any downsides, it would probably be the rather cramped parking. Also, with the retro-designed key and door, remember to lock up, haha! Although I really loved the keychain~"
