"Very loud neighbourhood with constant outside noise. The walls are extremely thin, I could hear people talking in the next room. The heating system was broken, so we were given two small plug-in radiators that kept overheating the room, then switching off and making it cold again. Sleep was horrible. The spa is very small, with no space in the sauna and the pool crowded with kids. We paid £177 for one night on the top floor with lounge access, but the lounge had no snacks—only soft drinks (drink selection was okay). Overall, poor value for the price."

"A reasonable experience overall. This is after all a budget hotel. The communal area carpets in reception and corridors are in serious need of cleaning. Experience was helped by the actions of a couple of members of staff. On arrival (early) on Saturday 9th May reception promptly offered storage of our bags. Alex at breakfast on May 10th was outstanding with a warm cheerful welcome and prompt explanation. Moreover she went out of her way to prepare a table for our party of six. Thank you Alex. The big downer wasn’t obviously the 5am Fire alarm but the nonexistent communication from the night staff while we mustered outside for an hour while the alarm persisted despite there not being a fire. Why on earth was nothing announced to the assembled guests. Disappointing and dangerous. Please speak to the relevant staff and send for training."

"we stayed in a club room, which came with gym and pool access - the facilities are good and the gym is fully equipped. The ladies serving breakfast are very friendly especially young Asian girl and there are veg options available. Nature reserve only 10 mins walk from the hotel - highly recommend. The room itself had issues with wifi and tv signal. I logged a complaint on their app but nobody came so the next day I had to go to reception again. They didn’t give me a solution like moving room for a better wifi. Club Rooms don’t have a fridge or a telephone so you have to send messages via chat which is annoying."

She is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Her warm attitude and genuine smile made the morning brighter. It’s clear that she truly cares about the guests. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an affordable yet comfortable stay with great service."

"The weather in the UK was really hot this week, and the room had no air conditioning, only a fan, which made it a bit warm. On another note, the hotel has a car park that charges £15 for 24 hours, but the fee resets every time you leave and re-enter."
