I want to remind everyone to be careful about check-in times. Finally, I must say, Izu is truly beautiful."

"This is probably the most expensive hotel on the Izu Peninsula, yet Ctrip only rates it as three stars?! The hotel's main selling point seems to be its unique views, directly facing Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji, and the scenery is indeed beautiful. However, the rooms are honestly rather average; there are four beds, but they're all in one room?! The service is lacking; there seem to be very few staff members, and sometimes it's difficult to find one. They're also quite inflexible. On the day we checked in, we were the only guests in the entire hotel, and we were refused when we asked to change to a room in a more upscale location, which was a bit frustrating. Dinner was quite good; the chopsticks even had the date and guest's name on them, which was a nice touch."

"This is the second time I've stayed here in four years, thanks to its convenient location right outside the north exit of JR Numazu Station. This time, I was invited by my son and his wife from Tokyo to stay the night before our trip to Izu. I love that the beds are placed on the tatami floor so you can relax barefoot, and that there is a washing area in the bathroom. And above all, the breakfast is amazing. The fried horse mackerel, charcoal-grilled dried horse mackerel, and curry are all delicious! I will also never forget the pleasant service and cheerful smiles of the staff. We were blessed with good weather on the day, and had a great view of the peak of Mt. Fuji from our room. By the way, the TV in the room had a larger screen than last time."

"I felt that there were some points that should have been clearly explained before booking. It would be helpful if the following points were explained in advance. - Additional charge for late check-out - Additional charge for each amenity, such as towels and toothbrushes - Details about the location of the parking lot - The road in front is very narrow - The toilets and baths are shared by guests - The check-in location is far from the accommodation, and it takes a long time to walk there - No trash disposal - Regarding the fee, the website stated that "credit cards in the guest's name are accepted," but in reality, payment was cash only If these points had been explained in advance, it would have been easier to consider staying there. The room itself was spacious, and the sheets were clean and there were no problems. However, there were surveillance cameras in the common areas, which made me feel that there was no trust in the guests, which was unpleasant. I think it would be more reassuring if the conditions were clearly presented before booking, rather than added later."

"Style. Designed by Akira Watanabe 2008 Setting. Calm and serene spot yet only one block from the beach and short walk to the port. With beautiful views of Fuji Explore. Boat rides. Fresh seafood restaurants and lively markets. Deep sea aquarium. Rooms. Only 8 rooms. Was in lovely corner unit upstairs. A sanctuary with indoors and outdoors space. Bathroom looks recently renovated and connects to the outdoor onsen on my deck @ the hotel. The hotel is quiet, intimate, and in a nice residential neighborhood. Woke up early to perfect weather and strolled along the coast. Beautiful gardens with pine trees that I fell in love with immediately. Spa with saunas, indoor outdoor cold and hot baths filled with Fuji mountain ground water. Meals served in the fabulous Meiji-era tea house with attentive service Food & drinks. Excellent Chinese Japanese Italian fusion. Delicious meal with local ingredients supervised by chef Hirofumi Saito from Ichirin Hanare Prices. $1161 half board including alcohol (week days much cheaper) Rating. 5/5 wonderful staff and experience."
