"I stayed at The Beachfront for 13 days. The location is very nice and the view is beautiful. The staff at the Mare restaurant were very friendly and kind. We felt welcome every day. But the food was not good. Every day it was the same. The choice was very small. The scrambled eggs tasted like powder, and nothing changed during our whole stay. The housekeeping service was also weak. The floor was always dirty with sand, and they didn’t clean it well. We felt sand under our feet all the time. Some equipment in the room was broken and not fixed. Also, the staff in the Club House restaurant were not nice. They were rude and didn’t want to help. Another problem was the customer service. There was no flexibility. When we asked for small changes or help, the answer was usually “no” without trying to find a solution. I liked the beach and the Mare staff, but the hotel needs to improve cleaning, food quality, customer service, and the attitude of some employees."

"This hotel has become well known for being a book lovers haven. The hotel itself is super interesting and each room is different. My friend and I each stayed in different parts of the hotel and had very different looking and feeing rooms. Which means each time you stay there; there could be a new discovery. The hallways and corridors are lined with books. Even if you don't stay here I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant. The food was amazing every time. The only thing I would recommend if this hotel needs more cozy reading areas. They have a couple but they are not the most comfortable places to sit; although they are definitely aesthetically pleasing and fit the vibe of the hotel's history. We spent a lot of time out in the courtyard reading; there's a great spot under a large tree with canvas chairs."

"It’s really fun being in this pretty old house, relaxing in the billiards room. Like traveling in Europe years ago. So very peaceful and quiet, nothing but bird song. Drive or get a taxi/Uber up to enchanting walled city but it’s close. A great bargain."

"Really neat and pretty hotel. Slippers and electric ports, hair dryers, shampoo, body wash, body milk, etc. are provided. The location was also near the wall, so it was good to go back and forth. The staff were so friendly and the seriousness provided when checking in was so delicious. Overall very recommended"

"Very nice place and nice staff! Pleasantly surprised at how nice the place, the location and the staff is. The breakfast was nice. They give you a slip to check off the day before with your breakfast time. In the morning, you go to the dining room at the time you’ve chosen and everything is already set up for you. The rooms were pretty with an elegant feel and there was plenty of hot water in the shower."

"This hotel is a true sanctuary for nature lovers. The grounds are exceptionally green with abundant grass, trees, and shrubs creating a peaceful atmosphere. The low-rise buildings blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, making you feel connected to the environment rather than isolated from it. The rooms are impressively spacious and feature some wonderful amenities. The standout feature was definitely the hot tub positioned in the middle of the room - perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The in-room fireplace added a cozy touch that I particularly appreciated during the evenings. There is a coffee machine , separated shower and toilet which unfortunately was not properly aired as the vent did not work The décor strikes a good balance between rustic charm and minimalist design. The simplistic, uncluttered approach creates a calming environment that complements the natural setting outside. There is an enormous library. With hundreds of books and multiple comfortable reading areas, it's a bibliophile's dream. The dining area continues the natural theme with beautiful wood elements and recycled fabric decorations that maintain the eco-friendly aesthetic. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing - a limited selection of cheese and pastries, with scrambled eggs and pre-fried eggs that were unfortunately served cold. This is definitely an area where improvements could be made. Dinner, however, was excellent The restaurant offers local cuisine with creative modern twists. Dinner during was delightful, showcasing fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation. This hotel excels at creating a tranquil retreat that celebrates its natural surroundings. The spacious rooms with luxury touches like hot tubs and fireplaces, combined with the impressive library and excellent dinner offerings, make for a memorable stay. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a peaceful nature escape with comfortable accommodations and a respect for local culinary traditions."
